Good frosty morning y'all. It's a nice brisk, 26-27° here in wonderful Dixieland. Gonna have a nice breakfast with my hunny, then finish cleaning up the pile of hickory cutoffs. Got to get the dump trailer moved over to a shed and load a cord of wood to deliver tomorrow morning...

 

We had a great day. Topped it off by making it back to catch a ferry and deliver it to Mom. We are headed out again today.

 

Morning All. Another cold clear morning. Full moon last night was beautiful. Windy ferry trip to Mom's. Headed out for another load of firewood. This one we will deliver tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be raining by then.

Between my hunny and me, we got it loaded and ready to deliver this morning. Then back home to move a couple drums of chunks down to the house and a few buckets of limb rounds.

I think I'll do some wooding this morning. I've been cleaning up various spots here, making room to move wood from my SIL'S.

I'll probably do some grocery shopping later.

Sounds like a great plan. It's below freezing here, I saw frost on the sides of my truck here at work in town. It's usually 5° colder in the bottom where we live in the country.

Morning all. An even freezin here this morning. Headin over to the shop to fire up the stove with some 10% MC chestnut oak. Happy National Apple Pie day.

 

Kinda glad I don't have to do that. It's hard enough getting it TO the house.

Good morning everyone! I got the word yesterday, the tree service will be cutting at my friend's today. There will be 4 or 5 oaks and possibly a maple (it's a favorite of hers). They will stack them next to her driveway I think. I'll have to wait to start cutting until tomorrow.
Today, I'll stage a place to put it all! I'll put some racks on a patch of ground cover next to my driveway. I wish it wasn't going to pour rain on Saturday.
