Sorry, just landed in Valdosta. Dad made reservations. I have to make a trip to Louisiana soon to order a boat. I will plan on a visit with you then.

Just had some catfish from Big Nicks. Some of the best I ever had. Lots of food in this town.

Good morning everyone! Today is the pick of the week weatherwise, sunny, dry, in the mid 70's. I'll spend it moving some locust. First I'll wedge in half the bigger rounds, and get them to the edge of the driveway. Then I'll round up some of the smaller stuff that's scattered about. We'd like to have everything out of the neighbors and over to my place by sometime on Friday, maybe we can beat that. There's some heavy rain expected tomorrow morning. Anyway, I'll sleep well tonight, which is all I ask.

Got to peak outside and see what the weather is...need to go do a side job of grass cutting, then this afternoon, go pick up 70 bales of pine straw for us and a neighbor. Supposed to be cool and breezy, down in the 50's tonight...might have to build a fire...lol...

Good morning everyone! We will have a cool (50's and 60's) and rainy day here, but it's not raining yet, so I'll get in a little wood hauling. Later, some shopping and catching up around the house, and elm splitting with the splitter under the canopy. Tomorrow we'll start splitting the locust. Next week the humidity returns, so I'd like to get this project as far along as possible.
