Hey, at least it happened before the ground freezes! Or won't they have to dig? I hope it doesn't go over $1600!

Good morning everyone! I'll be on the road shortly, going down to assist with online learning with my grandson. I need a down day anyway, I split a bunch of red maple yesterday.
Here are some glamour shots of my cat. She kept me company outside yesterday. IMG_20201020_32909.jpg IMG_20201020_45160.jpg IMG_20201020_59402.jpg Have a great fall day!

    Good morning.

Today's activities have yet to be revealed to me.

Showers are forecasted. So, a mix of indoor/outdoor things to do.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

I'm sure glad y'all are finally getting some rain. Have a great day. Did you get much yard work done at your parents yesterday?

I took down a dead spruce. Too many branches! It was only about 20-25 feet tall. I left the trunk rounds in s stack. A neighbor will most likely take them for an outside fire pit. The branches we're dragged into the woods.

I then took out a hedge of Holly that was overcrowding their walkway. Everything was also taken into the woods. The walkway is much safer. If they sprout back in the spring, I'll dig them out.

I did come back with a piece of hardware cloth. It was laying at the edge of the woods. Guessing 5x8.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Yesterday was a great day, we got the maintenance done on the car, loaded up equipment needed and cut 2 yards, the 2nd yard was gonna be a small 30 minute trim up job, but our friend came out and asked us to cut the whole yard, made 2 hrs on that. Probably got home close to 5pm, we grabbed our rifles and walked to our big tower stand, Miz Carol wanted to go hunting. We saw 8 deer. 6397.jpeg She did right good.

Good for Miz Carol! Judging by her jeans, he didn't go without a fight. Do you have someone who butchers it, or do you do it yourself?

...thats those high $$$ designer jeans... ...she usually wears those when we cut grass, maybe they are cooler....
When we got home, we didn't have time to change into our regular hunting clothes.
There is a processor in town, about 10 miles from us. We used to do all our deer at a local cooler, but it closed when the owner passed away quite a few years ago.

Good morning all! Another shortish work day today. I dropped off 8 turkeys to be butchered by a local Amish family. We're down to 12 left but 3 of them are sold already. We just gotta sell the last 9.

    Have a great day!

T.Jeff Veal tell Miz Carol congrats! Thats a nice buck!

The "trunks" were but 2" thick at the ground. Branched out at 3" above ground. Wasn't worth saving.

Morning all. Chilly this morning but so far not raining. We had a safe and successful trip down island. I discovered a new fabric store which specializes in outdoor and active wear. Apparently they have been there for a while but up until now didn't have a big retail outlet. They ship clothes and fabrics everywhere. A real find. Now to start some projects that need new fabric, :D

    Everyone have a great day.

    Good morning.

    Fairly foggy outside, this morning.

I think I'll pay my BIL a visit this morning. I pulled some wood out of a dried up wetlands, about a month ago. Time to move some of it back here.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy.

Good morning everyone! Online school was smoother yesterday. My grandson is still attentive. He likes his little schedule, without having to leave the comforts of his own home.
It was fun to hang out yesterday, although traffic is picking up again.
It'll be a warmish day today, think I'll work outside!
