Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. Got 1 more night to work, then off 3 days...
We have a bit of work this morning, taking tractor and dump trailer over to the church in town where Mr Hawkins died Saturday cutting up the oak tree. A member has gotten the smaller stuff, there are 6 big rounds left they want moved. Don't want his family to have to see it. I guess he went doing something he loved and where he liked to be.
We aren't promised tomorrow, make a positive impact today.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

Blessings to everyone this morning. I am up and trying my first sample of Black Rifle coffee. I chose AK, if there are any BR coffee aficionados. This entire week through the weekend has been great weather, and a little color showing in the leaves.

Morning all. Raining this morning so no walk. I always have something else to do anyway. Headed over to Mom's today for a visit. Doing some grocery shopping for her. I have been enjoying the baseball games. It is a pretty intense week of four games a day.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning everyone. With the wind and rain we have had, the trees are getting pretty bare.
The other day step out onto the porch to check put something across the valley. As I turned around and seen a deer grazing in the side yard. When it lifted its head, it was a buck. Couldn't tell how big as I hey a good view. Gradually made it across the yard and then headed across. Chaz said we have a spike buck hanging around.
    Have a good day.
    Stay safe and stay healthy.

Good morning everyone! Today my grandson turns 7, we'll go down in the afternoon to wish him a happy birthday. He'll have a couple of friends over tomorrow. A lot different from last year at Chuckie Cheese's!
There's one Craigslist posting for free wood close by, from the blow. I might have to go by with my wedges and see if I can get a load. The big rounds tend to be the last to go. 00E0E_hedxnnVtENK_0x20oM_600x450.jpg
I think it fell across the road, so maybe that slope isn't as bad as it looks. I'll bring the hand truck too.
You all have a good Friday!

Pouring rain out today. campinspecter is firing the boiler. House chores to do today. Had a great visit with Mom yesterday. Looking forward to Monday and Thanksgiving day. Family zoom meeting planned. I hope the rain lets up a bit on the weekend but it doesn't look like it will until Wednesday. Nice that I don't have to go out and work in it.

Good luck with the wood scrounge Midwinter

    Everyone have a great day.

Sounds cosy, rain and a warm boiler. I'm sure it will get old by Wednesday. We may get rain from hurricane Delta next week, I hope we do.
Didn't get any oak, but got some yellow birch from the dump instead. IMG_20201009_19222.jpg
