I think even in-person school systems should be practicing this stuff, for the eventuality. From what I've seen, it's a very glitchy start.

There were a few problems last April when our school did the remote learning but they were quickly worked out and by June, everyone was doing pretty good on it. The students who struggle to attend and stay in class in a real classroom are the ones that have trouble with the self-discipline of online learning. I think it shows up more in the high school grades than elementary grades.

It's for first grade. Gym falls under "Exploratory". It was some self-directed exercise games. We did them together.

    Good morning everyone.

Warm-ish temps again today, and forecasted for the next several.

As nice as it feels having the stove lit on a cool morning, it's nicer to not have the AC, on any heat source fired up.

    General yard stuff today.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

0924201201a.jpg 0924201208_HDR.jpg Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. We worked 3 1/2 hrs at our friends house, cut and trimmed ditches, planted 10 big roses, brought mower back home, went back with tractor and landscape rake. Cut 3 pines down and cleaned those up, then raked up an area. We went to dinner together, the catfish house was only doing takeout, so we drove on and went to Red Lobster. Had a great time with them.
Funny how fast 18 days go by when you are having fun. My days off are over...:(:(...got to go back to work tonight. Oh well, life goes on.
Be encouraging, share a smile, lend a hand.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME.

Good morning everyone! I'm ready for some time outside today. I can't believe it's almost October. There's just a little more time before everything starts falling from the trees, and then it's all about cleanup.
I'll no doubt help with online learning again. It will be interesting to see how they refine it. It's pretty rough right now.
They gave me a nice seeded watermelon from their farm share. It's a lot tastier than the supermarket kind. IMG_20200925_39453.jpg Have a fun day!

Good morning everyone! Woke up to a small waterbed leak, in the bottom corner maybe. The bag lasted 30 years! We have a replacement, and the tools to drain and fill, my husband just has to do it. No running off to work today I hope.
Today I'll get the last of the oak out of the driveway. I'll take a pic of the stack later. Lots to do today, the waterbed is the icing on the cake. aviary-image-1601116370068.jpeg Have a good Saturday!

Hope you didn't get wet. We used to have a waterbed years ago, nice and warm in the winter. Seam started leaking.
