Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. Got to fix a little and . Going over to my son's old house and help him move his storage building. Then this evening we are taking his wife and my MIL out for dinner. They both have birthdays very soon.

Yes sir, we have. Got back Thursday evening. Gonna be home a few days, then headed to NC to visit a couple friends.

 

Sounds great. Got to give you credit friend. You sure are not one to let any grass grow under your feet.

 

The first part of our anniversary trip was something that my hunny really wanted to do, going to NC is something I kinda want to do. Never been to Boone or that area. Meeting a FB friend, gonna let him the 461, said he's never run anything bigger that 039. He has a small farm, gonna try to get him to finish signing up and be a FHC member. Then we are gonna stop by another FHC member and meet him.

Morning all. Heavy fog this morning. Really going to enjoy the peace of the Lord's day today. It has been a tiring but productive week. Heading out for a walk and coming back for pancakes for breakfast.

I lit a small fire in the woodstove this morning. Windows are open. There's always a smell, not too unpleasant, with the first fire. Most drifts out the windows. The heat feels nice. It's 65 inside.

I'll be dealing with some yard cleanup this morning. Then it'll be football. That won't be the same. I'll try to get beyond any political statements and just enjoy the games, the athleticism, and skill.

Good morning everyone! Mike, I've been thinking about a first fire too, haven't struck a match yet.
I've been killing it in the yard! Got all my daylilies replanted yesterday.
Today will be spent with my grandson. I have to check if the local playgrounds are open.

The fire is mostly out now. Just residual heat coming off the stove.

It felt good sitting around with coffee earlier.

Morning all. Fog and smoke in the sky today. 10:30 AM and it feels like 7:00 AM Washington and Oregon smoke has finally made it up here. Showed up Friday afternoon. I was horrified to see a map of all the fires on the west coast of US. It is incredible. Fortunately for our province, it has not been quite as bad this year in comparison to previous years.

Gardening, bookkeeping, baseball etc for me today. Then the finally 5 days of work. Going to be a busy week.

What, no football?

 

Not really in football mode yet. CFL didn't have a season and the Blue Jays are really in the running for playoffs this year. Lots of young talented players up and coming.

 

Guess the Bills picked up a few new ones.
The Big 10 college games were all canceled this year. Might play some games in the spring.
