Morning all. Overcast and possible rain today. I still didn't finish getting the potatoes out. Work is really intense this week. I was able to get some sewing done after dinner last night.

Good morning everyone! I got a fair amount done yesterday, did some cutting, and moved a dog crate across the yard and started splitting chunkies to fill it.
Some more of that today, and maybe I'll start digging up another garden bed.
Found out the asking price for the house next door, 469K. They'll never get that. Not with the food truck across the street. And the woodpiles next door, lol.
Looking forward to a trip to Winchester on Saturday, hope you feel up to it, Mike!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. We have the once-a-month yard to cut this morning, should be FUN...He gets his check, he calls us. Really just helping the older feller out. I've got to go find some good blades to put on the mower, get trimmers and gas loaded up. It's 73° with 73° dewpoint, should be a fun day...
Got a good bit done yesterday myself. My hunny had grandkids duty, she and RJ did ride up on the golf cart to check on me a few times...lol
Stacked what was split Monday morning. Bucked and split some black gum and catalpa. Finally hauled the gum where it should have been left, in the woods. Had 3 buckets like this. That catalpa is pretty wood. How does it burn? Midwinter
It was nice size, 12-14" dia. Finally got everything stacked last night, 1 1/2 rows next to the hickory.

 

Catalpa burns just fine. Shoulder wood for sure, up here in the northeast.

Same drizzle here. I had to scratch my outdoor plans and do stuff in the <sigh> basement.
