    Good morning, folks.

    Another hot, muggy day.

Had a few showers last night. Just enough to get things wet, not watered. Hopefully, some more later tonight.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning everyone! We got some heavy rain last night, and more expected this afternoon. About time! Soupy air out there.
The cat brought a bird in the house and let it go. I managed to catch it in a dishtowel and set it free. Seemed none the worse for wear.
I've been saying it forever, but today I'll work on basement organization, mark my words! Husband is home today, so I'll get extra credit. QoZQKkV.jpg Have a great day!

Good morning all! CJ will be here working his calves until he gets picked up Sunday. Next Thursday is their show day. Got the roadside on the South side of the driveway finally graded so I can mow it whenever it starts growing grass, don't know if the county is going to seed it or not. Going to roll it with the yard roller and four wheeler today and then start putting fence back up maybe tomorrow if I get the stock trailer wheel bearings packed and find no surprises there! Stay safe and healthy.

It was supposed to rain last night but didn't. Our days are starting off with heavy overcast which burns off by noon. Got some gardening done yesterday. I think I will have to water today. Peas are coming along and it is tempting to start picking but they really aren't big enough.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good afternoon all. Did a little running around this morning. By the time I got home, even though i had my 02 on except when I was eating my hot fudge sundae, I was winded. Had to just had to sit and relax here on the porch. So I don't think I will be doing much.
    Have a great day everybody.
    Stay safe and stay healthy.
Edit: it is 80 with clouds, sunshine and a few brief showers.

I ran out of paper towels so I had to dry them between kitchen towels. The Foodsaver still sucks in extra moisture. A little trick I learned years ago.....roll up a paper towel and put in the Foodsaver bag in front of the fish. It traps all the moisture. Throw away when you thaw out your fish. I used napkins today that I had from a restaurant take out.

That's a good idea. You always have juice when you vacuum seal chicken.

Good morning. We had highs in the 60s and 70s this week, but we are heading to the humid 90s over the weekend.
