Good morning everyone. Rain came through last evening, Chaz just took off to do a little cutting. Don't know how much he will get done. It is mostly cloudy, 75 with very little breeze. Anything he gets done is a step in the right direction. Have a good day all.

 

Father, we are grateful for all who have served and are serving in our Armed Forces. Let your mercy rest upon them and their families as we acknowledge the faithfulness You have provided to this Country. Grant strength, courage, and protection to our military in the days to come. Amen.

Good morning everyone. It's less humid today, quite comfortable. We sacrificed this to Craigslist this morning:
Gotta give back, I've been getting a lot of great stuff from my friend Craig lately.
My husband is cleaning out the garage, and I started the black locust storage bin yesterday, so I'll carry on with that. Plus work on the pool. Lots of projects.

Good morning FHC. We got back from our place up north last night. We were busy with a lot of satisfying work around the gardens and yard, but relaxing. The bird migration of warblers and sparrows was in full swing, and beauty at our feeders comprised of gold and purple finches, chickadees, nuthatches and a beautiful pair of rose breasted grossbeaks was very enjoyable to watch from our deck.

 

I used to enjoy havin several feeders out n watchin all the birds you listed n then some.....bluebirds, blue indigo buntings,cardinals,tufted titmouse,etc.
Got tired of takin them down every evening ....if i didnt ....bears would do it for me...enjoy!

 

Mornin folks.....rainin here...severe storms are possible today n tomorrow.
Think im goin to auction today with farmer steve to see if i can find some hangin baskets i got there last year...

I have lost so many feeders to bears over the years up there. It is worth it for us. I also use a lot of ground feeding, and when I do have replace feeders, I get them as cheap as possible.

 

Good morning everyone! 53° here now, and it's not going to get much warmer, with rain moving in. I have a major dump run to make, all the soggy leaves I dredged out of the pool. They are in paper yard bags, sitting in a kiddie pool, in the back of the RAV4. Can't wait to get rid of them! Looking at next week to open the pool. No pressure with these temps. I hope all of you have a good day.

 

Did any of our members get damage from the storms in Indiana and Ohio last night? From the news reports it is looking really bad.

Good morning y'all. Already 80° this morning. Getting hot and dry down here. Mid -Upper 90's again today, but we are alive and well. Be in prayer for those folks that lost homes, health or life from the storms last night and the ones that might get storms today. Be thankful for your blessings.
