I just found out it is 36f with 32f dew point at the Grand Marais airport this morning so it will interesting to see if my zucchini and potato vines survived.

Good morning all! Slept in a little but the calves are bawling saying they want their grain! CJ (oldest grandson - 13) is here until Monday. He and I stayed up late watching train videos on youtube last night. Going to wake him up soon, we will stanchion the calves, do the rest of the chores then today we are going to pound some steel posts in place for some fencing on a pasture for two teams of horses to graze on. Gotta use his young muscles! Have a great day all, stay safe and healthy!

I am renting a boat slip from a man that lives in Arkansas. It is deluxe. Roof over your boat. Roof over the cleaning station with a giant deck and seating. Running water and electric. Right on the lake. I let him know if he ever wants to sell to put me at the front of the line.

 

Good morning all. Got up to lower 50s not now lower 60s. Sunny but windy. To Chaz it is beautiful, but to me it is cold. Chaz is out mowing some of the lawn.

Nice. Almost a mini home. I can remember dad standing in the lake at break wall cleaning fish. He would just toss the guts back in the lake.

Doesn't take long for 1pounders to steam up.

I'll be breaking them down, to make lobster salad for the next few days. I'm sure I'll have a cup of melted butter on hand, for quality control, of course.
