Get some chickens, then you can have fresh eggs too.

Morning all. Up early to send campinspecter off for firewood. He made two trips yesterday. He is hoping to get one trip in today before the rain. I am off to work this morning. I just realize I have 5 weeks left of work until summer break. Yeah! I realize I am very fortunate to have a job through all the troubles of the last three of months. so many don't.

Calling Molly Midwinter. The row you can see is walnut. Behind that is ash. We will see what I can get done. Might have to adjust the placement of the splitter a bit. 20200608_153821.jpg 20200608_151529.jpg

Wow! That looks like a good way to christen the splitting season. I put in my time today, this is some of the pitch pine I got across the street last winter. IMG_20200608_49182.jpg

Ya it is. As you can see that is almost a full cart load of ash. Most of it was 17% so happy for that. I can tell it is going to take me a bit to get back in shape. That only took me about an hour and it drained me. Wasn't going to stack it today. Clear blue skies and 80*. Lol

Good morning. Still hot here, but not for long. Rain coming in later today to break the heat. My garden is going to love that...its getting pretty thirsty!
