Midwinter canopy up. No pics today. While Chaz worked on the canopy I got about 2 acres mowed. We have decided to move it to a flatter area. Buddy is coming over to help us move it tomorrow.

 

Two acres, wow! And Chaz raised the canopy, big day for you two!

 

Well it is a start. Once we get that moved, still need to get the splitter moved. Then set up my seat and get me staged for splitting. While I'm splitting Chaz needs to fix where we had last year. A few need replacing. Lol

 

Looking really good. That compost is working.

Good morning. 64f here. It rained last night. Weather couldn't be better for the garden. We will see how it goes until our main harvests...but so far, so good.

Brandon Scott, you and I are larks, while some are owls.

I am good to go after 5-6 hours of sleep and really can't stay in bed any longer than that. Now that I am older, I like to get in a nap on the weekends if we are not busy.

 

Good morning, brother. Hope your garden continues to do well. I don't sleep well when I'm on nite shift, maybe 4 hrs good sleep, days I get a bit more, maybe 6. Don't always get up, sometimes just lay there and check on my FHC brothers and sisters...

Exciting day yesterday...

This means me and MrsMikeinMa, can head to Hyannis on Friday, for a week of golf (her), fishing (me), and a prolonged change of scenery.

Then, we had a severe thunderstorm/squall line come through about 2:30. Gusty winds and downpour for about 20 mins. Lost a small branch on an ash tree, but otherwise, no damage. Larger trees came down in the area.

Then, about 9pm, the power went out for about 45mins. Not sure the reason. Maybe, related to the storm hours earlier.

Looking forward to a less exciting day today. Filling some storage bins in prep for going to Hyannis. Drier, refreshing air in place.

Mike, do you know any specifics about beaches? We are planning to take my grandson to Revere Beach this AM. We'll play it by ear. It's not far from their house, so if there's no parking or something, no huge deal. Even if we can just walk the waterline, that will be nice.

I believe beaches have been open, but parking lots haven't been, by community. I am unaware of the status in Revere.

 

Worse comes to worse, my husband can drop us off and pick us up later. He doesn't much care for sand anyways.

 

Not "still", got up shortly after 3 am.
