Good morning, folks.

I did manage to get my hair cut yesterday. Very pleased to have that done.

Nothing much on the list to do today, except to manage the sadness in my heart from what is occurring across this country. Prayers that the violence ends quickly.

It takes me about 20 minutes to boat to the fishing grounds. Beautiful ride but you will be finished before I get started.

Good morning everyone. Hope you folks have a great day. Going to a goofy drive by birthday party for my wife's cousin. Then going to use cooler temps and take care of the important stuff. Splittin some far wood.
Please don't get me started on this so called new normal.

 

Good morning all. Had a great time with son in law fishing and then wife and I ate supper with daughter, granddaughter and son in law. Wonderful afternoon/evening. Quite the direct opposite of what is happening in the big cities. I pray they find some peace and happiness in their lives. Me, have 84 panfish on ice, need to get to filleting some fish. Have a great day all, be safe and stay healthy.

It just goes to show how close to the surface the pain, anger, and frustration is. I hope the people in power pay attention.

 

A great morning for weeding, we did get a slug of rain last night. Later, son and grandson are coming up. We'll see if they get in the pool!

 

It's not my intention to turn thus thread into anything more than "Good Morning ", just as T. Jeff intended. To do so, would not be appropriate.

 

My oldest son and I ended up with 27 bluegill, 3 crappie and 1 bass in the creel this morning. We were done with as many fish as we needed by 6:30AM. We filleted them all up; then I mowed up 4 bags of dry leaves and grass to build up my hot compost while turning it; mulched around establish plants with finished compost; did some weeding; ate a sandwich; now ready for a nap!

Good afternoon all. Not a pretty day out. Overcast, about 62 with some wind. Of course Chaz is in a terrible shirt. I have on a tee shirt, light flannel shirt and a hoodie. I lasted about an hour on the porch before I came in. Chaz had the gang mower hooked up to the ATV and now he is on the rider doing the front yard.
