Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. Doesn't look like we will get much done today, already a light rain, more when I get off at 7. Might come back to town and get some cap block for the new wood shed supports. Need to figure materials to get new storage building wired up too.
Got one more big short round to split up, and then we can move spitter to the big shed. Just have to see what mother nature does...

Good morning. It is 60f outside now. My wife and I are going over the help our daughter and son-in-law with their garden after work today. Our granddaughter loves worms, which is a the first step to loving fishing.

Another cool sunny day here. So cool, I started a fire. Today there will be weeding, maybe splitting, I haven't done any for awhile. Still lots of chores left to do, so staying home isn't boring. It never was.

Good morning all!! My last day of E-teaching! Have to have all grading completed and turned in by Sunday midnight. Our county 4H fair got cancelled officially yesterday. I expect my grandkids fair will also be cancelled. The restrictions in a nutshell, the animals could not stay overnight, each employee, 4H member, leader, helper had to wear a mask the entire time and the biggie I am sure, the fair board was responsible for having a list of every person that entered the fairgrounds for a contact list. Our county fair is a "free" fair, no perimeter fencing, anyone can come and go at will. So sure that was a big point of contention/possible litigation. Enjoy, be safe, stay well!

Found a screw in the tire and was easy to plug. Probably time to start searching for new tires.

Found the problem with trailer brakes. Magnet wires were pulled loose inside the brake drum and pinched between the drum and spindle. Most likely happened when it was inspected at the dealer. Been fighting an intermittent brake problem for over 2 years..
Same dealer fixed my furnace...twice... and I had no heat...
Won't be going back.

 

Good afternoon all. Clear blue skies with a cold light wind. Got restless earlier so Holly and I wondered around the property. She come close to getting a chipmunk but it lost her as it ran around a tree then went straight up. That thing went all the way to the top and didn't slow down on the way up. Lol.

Morning sir. Just took my first sip. Yes gonna go look for more fish. I know where a bunch are located but half the fun for me is hunting them down and catching them before anyone else finds them. Everyone on the lake has my cell # now and I share info. They will go where I was yesterday. Two guys boated over to me the other day and said: “you must be the one they call “Kentucky”...”. I have a nickname. We shared numbers. My boat sticks out like a sore thumb and people follow me. Sorta looks like Forrest Gump when he was running...

Good morning, folks.

Coffee is tasting good this morning.

My BIL decided to not change his tire yesterday. He didn't want to not have his bike this weekend, should the effort had gone south.

So, me and Mrs MikeinMa took a ride to the Cape Cod Canal. About an hour's ride. Checked out the availability of port-o-johns, at some of the places we like to go. Public restrooms are closed. We found several. This is good, because I can now go fishing there without worrying about looking for a bush to hide behind.

We then went to restaurant for fried seafood take-out, and sat by the canal. There's usually an amount of boat traffic there, but absolutely nothing while we were there. Still, it was a nice afternoon. Bright, sunny day. With a nice change of scenery.

Today? I'm thinking about cleaning off the deck, as we're at the end of wood burning here. I can always bring a canvas bag of wood up to the house, as needed. Then, maybe vacuum out the minivan. It's due, with various hoarding efforts over the past several weeks.
