    Good afternoon all. Had my routine labs and doc appt coming up in 2 weeks. Well the local VA list called. All appt for April have been canceled. Will give me a call when they can see me. Wasn't surprised at all.

    A chilly morning here. I've had a fire going every day, mornings and evenings. I've been burning wood stacked in the screened-in porch, that was meant for the fireplace, and never got burned. I need to sweep out the porch and get it ready for summertime sitting.
    A fair number of home-made masks being worn at the grocery store. Now they're saying that asymptomatic infected people may be a factor in the spread of the virus. Maybe I'll whip up a few.
    Yesterday I put up a new wood rack to stack some fresh black locust I've recently acquired. I'll work on splitting some of it today. I got a couple chunks of apple yesterday, but the dump pickings have been sparse this past week. I think the city Parks Dept., which drops a lot off, has probably been furloughed. There were some trees taken down yesterday a couple streets over, but I think they were pines. I'll check it out anyway.

    Our ice went out but that water is still ice cold, so no good panfishing until we get a few sunny days with highs over 60f.
