Where are my pencils, the toothpicks gave up on my eyelids hours ago....

 

Happy Friday! My husband got on a plane, not the one planned, had to run to another terminal to catch a different one when the first one had problems, and he doesn't run so good. I stopped and picked up my grandson from school on my way back, and saved my son a little time. I did see some road mayhem, a car standing on it's side (passenger) at the exit I was trying to take. No cops or ambulance was there yet, so I got to the left and took an alternate route. I'm looking forward to a nice peaceful day today. The news is exciting enough.
I'd like to get outside, at least I'll have to bring in wood. It's kind of windy and chilly here. I might settle for housecleaning. I want to put new silicone bead around the tub and shower sometime before DH gets home.

Thanks all. My friend is having surgery shortly. She is 71 and will be down for a few days. Now I just have to take care of her husband because he is incapable of doing anything for himself. Ohhhh......not that he can’t, she has waited on him hand and foot for 50 years. Gonna be interesting to say the least...

 

Slap him around a bit. He's going to have to take care of her, now.

Surgery has been postponed until 9 this morning. When it comes to health care Florida is a third world country. God’s waiting room.

 

My aunt, who's a nurse, had a hard time finding a primary care doctor that she considered competent, when she first moved to Florida. If you need help finding one for yourself, I could ask her.

 

Thanks for that. What I am seeing is doctors from less fortunate countries practicing here. They have never had access to modern medicine and have free reign down here. Doctor shortage I’m sure.
