It was a beautiful morning, but the water is too cloudy for good spearing. We set up anyways and sat for an hour and a half. Last year it was crystal clear. Some years it doesn’t clear off until January. ‘Twas a good shakedown for the season.

Morning all. Calm out this morning and no rain yet.
Our trip went well yesterday. Weather was worse where we went so it was nice to get home. Having two wet dogs in and out of the car was fun.

“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. John 10: 14-15

When I read about Moses and Joshua leading the people of God through the wilderness into the promised land, I marvel at their patience with the trials and troubles that kept happening. How much more patient God is in being the Good Shepherd to us? Often do we moan, complain and walk the wrong path thinking that our way is better. The Good Shepherd looks for us, rescues us and heals us if we are willing to submit to him.
Today, reach out and accept the gift of eternal life you are being offered and put your life in the hands of the Good Shepherd.

    Happy Sabbath everyone
