I have a strange feeling what goes north will make a bunch of snow for someone.

Good day y'all. Hope y'all are having a MARVELOUS MONDAY. I'm late to the party...lol...had to start back to work today, daylight hrs this week, wont get any work done on the woodyard. Beautiful blue skies today, but cool. Supposed to rain this weekend when I'm off...:picard:...oh well, take each day as the LORD gives it to me, can't change the weather...
Share a smile, lend a hand, be encouraging...

Thank you. The fish were active the whole time I was out. I ended up taking 2 pike by spear that were 30" and 32" (7 and 8.5 pounds respectively), and also angled 14 bluegill sunfish that were in and out of the hole when the pike were not around.

Awesome! I’d rather fish than eat when I’m hungry...

What do you with the bluegills? Mostly considered insignificant around here

Not to speak for him but I pan fry mine. I consider them the best tasting freshwater fish going. JMO

One of the best eating fish. I fillet them, roll in flour, dip in egg, roll in crushed corn flakes/panko and fry in cast iron pan. Not much beats them. But then again all types of the fish we get are pretty good if cared for properly.
