Planning on going to the dairy this morning, then we need to get a couple tons of pig fuel at the feed place.

Picked up some interesting cheeses at a discount grocery store yesterday.

 

Morning all. Dark out there with a high probability of rain and wind today.

It has been a busy week. Tuesday I took a friend and her daughter down to the other end of the island for her daughter's emergency surgery. My friend gets anxious about driving in bigger centers. Wednesday I made my way home. Yesterday about 15 mins before a school job would start I got a phone call asking me to come in and cover for someone. She is still off today so I am working again today. campinspecter and Lady are wondering if I am ever going to stay home.
The friend's daughter's surgery went well and now she is still hospital recovering. Her dad is going to be there this weekend to bring them home.

We were having condensation on the main floor bedroom windows so we installed another dehumidifier upstairs. We run one downstairs as we hang laundry to dry down there. What should we be setting the main floor at? I started off at 50% but I think that is too low. I guess it will take a bit of trial and error to find a comfortable level.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. A cool morning, truck said 44⁰, weather channel said 52⁰, clear. We dumped the load of logs earlier, then picked up the tractor. Dr's appointment @10AM, setting up for kidney stone breaking Monday. Nap later, start 6PM-6AM shift tonight.

Tom and I are heading out shortly for an auction, need to choose between two.....or maybe we'll go to both.

Sam and I moved about 200 cubic yards of dirt/rocks yesterday... ...leveled up some more area around the barn, fixed some roads, removed a bunch of stumps, widened the driveway, and cleaned/enlarged the duck pond.

Good morning. It is still quite warm and the leaves are hanging on later than usual.

Harvesting the carrots and potatoes, and grouse hunting today. Highs in upper 50s predicted.

 

Morning all. Yesterday turned out to be a nice day overall. This morning is dark, wet and windy. I took Lady for a walk in the rain to see how she would like it. Didn't seem to bother even while she was wearing a rain coat. I think it is going to be a stormy day.

Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! Psalm 27:14

It is so easy to pray a request and then go and do what you think you should without listening for the Lord. We all do it and He must just shake his head at our impatience. This is something I have to work on. Stop and listen for the Lord's voice. For our trials and struggles, He will strengthen our heart to meet them. We have to be willing to step out in faith that he is here beside us.
Take time today to stop and listen for Him. Spend time reading His Word and find the message He has for you.
