    I am ready for fall weather to return.

    It is amazing how fast the beans and corn is turning. It won't be long before the combines come out of hibernation again. I always loved this time of year. Also dearly love watching the color change in the woods. And bucks are shedding their velvet so hunting season is about here.

    I'm glad ya'll had a great time at Jim's. Yes sir it would have been nice to be there.
    I think ya'll would have liked being on the boat with us too...
    Beautiful river with mountains on each side. Caught our biggest fish ever. Miz Carol's weighed 34lbs. The boat had caught a 66 pounder a few days earlier.

    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 67⁰/85⁰ partly cloudy. We're going for a 2 hr drive t h is morning to a big apple orchard in Blue Ridge GA. They have trailer rides to orchard where you can pick your own apples. And they have a nice restaurant, cider mill...
    Last day camping, we will head home tomorrow.

    Working in and around the shop today, unloading junk, etc.
    Sam and I got the trailer, and the last of 5he junk from the auction yesterday.

    Afternoon all. Beautiful day out there today. Mowed lawn at the church yesterday. it was still damp and longer than I expected. Probably one more mowing before the weather gets colder.

    I have a summer cold. what a nuisance. Definitely takes away any ambition to do anything. I may just spend the afternoon in the sewing room if I don't take a nap.
    How about those Blue Jays!!!
