We have to go back to my SIL'S and get her car again......wiring or fuel pump issues persist. Going to get someone else to look at it this time...wish amateur cutter was closer...

Sold the trailer mounted BBQ thing yesterday for a nice profit.

Morning all. Overcast, fog and drizzle. Until the high pressure system moves on, this is what our weather will be like for a few more days. Yesterday when the sun came out in the afternoon, there was high haze in the air. One of our major provincial highways is shutdown due to wildfire on both sides of the highway. Another one has a fire burning close to it but moving uphill away from the highway. Unfortunately if the weather model is correct, when the high moves, we could get outflow smoke blanket our area.

Anyway, I am working today at school. campinspecter and I got the last of the firewood processed and into the wood shed yesterday afternoon. We had to cut 3 - 4" off the ends so the firewood would fit into the present boiler. Lots of bags of ends to deal with and sawdust. I think we have found a home for it all.

Warm start. 63⁰/84⁰ continued muggy feel to the air. Rain forecasted for this afternoon. I hope it pours.

We so enjoyed morning fires last weekend, we were to one today. We'll see how that plays out.

I'll get some grocery shopping in today.

There's supposed to be fireworks right next door tonight. Rain could impact that event.

Good morning. It has been in 40s overnight here with highs in the 50s. It feels great.

They are talking mid 70s by mid week which should help the remaining tomatoes ripen.

 

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SUPER SATURDAY. 68⁰/91⁰ clear. May move a few ash logs on the woodyard to a different spot, then we have grandparents day with our 5yr old red head at his kindergarten class. It's a short program, nap time after that.

Good morning. 44 with dry cool air in place. We barely broke 50 yesterday. Despite our cool weather my garden here at home is hanging in there. We are enjoying a bumper crop of honey crisp apples and big fall raspberries.

Up north is another story. It has been a lot colder at the old homestead.
