Looks like more rain this evening, think I'll go to the Men's Club at church tonight, fried fish is on the menu...

Afternoon all. Clear and sunny this morning so it is getting warm this afternoon. Westerly wind is picking up so that will cool it down.
Busy morning as we decided to move some of the cedar piles by the fence into the wood shed. We managed to move about 6 ft. of it before the sun started shining down on that side of the house. campinspecter has rigged up a jig to make the splits shorter. They were all originally cut to length for the Jetstream 7 years ago. Now they need to be 4" shorter. The chunks go into bags and campinspecter throws them in when the boiler gets really going.
Lots of sawdust. Most can be swept up but I am vacuuming the lawn to get the rest up.

I have a few errands to run this morning.

This afternoon I'll be taking mom to meet with my sister at the legal firm that drew up my folks trust, years ago. She's looking to make small tweaks to some paperwork. We put my folks property in a trust decades ago. It's been an action we've not regretted.

Morning all. Clear sunny skies this morning with a huge fog bank out over the water near the mainland. Warm this morning. 70F which is unreal at 7:00 AM.
Yesterday the temps kept climbing and the wind was very warm. We are getting outflow from the mainland inlets and the mainland is under heat wave warnings. It will last a couple of days and then we are supposed to get rain.
Off to see Mom again today. The project I was working on Sunday, didn't go that well so hopefully it will work today.

MikeInMa We watched the Red Sox game last night as the Jays didn't play. They put up a fight and almost pulled it off.

Good afternoon, ya'll. Hope ya'll are having a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 88⁰ with 69% humidity, feels like 102⁰. Another 6AM-6PM day, training the new operator is going well. Maybe I'll get to visit the woodyard this evening.
We had a record turn out at the Men's Club meeting last night. Good food and good message from the speaker that came.

Good here too. Been raining for 2 weeks except for one day. Goes from steady rain to light mist. Just nasty, steamy outside.

 

Morning all. Cooler this morning even though the sun is shining. A few clouds hanging around with a slight breeze. I think we are in for a weather change tomorrow.

Chores to do today. We have to take deliver of a new fridge for the church. The 30 year old one died this month. As we all know, the newer ones won't last as long.
