T.Jeff Veal My wife had to get shots in both knees for a number of years. The shots finally quit working and she had a knee replaced on 4-1. The first couple of weeks were rather painful but is now doing OK. She takes walks of a half mile or so most days and is also scheduled to get the other knee replaced in August. Wishing the best for Miz Carol.

Just two pieces of sheetrock left to screw up today, gotta run the 4/4/2 aluminum feed wire first.

My dad (lifelong west coast builder) always called it sheetrock, but most "civilized" folks seem to call it drywall.......I prefer sheetrock because it sounds just a bit derogatory and matches my sentiments pretty well.

 

Just don't screw it up!!!

No hair cut yesterday. Barber took the day off. I'll try again today. It's just down the street.

Planning to work in the shop this morning, then I gotta deliver a little load of oak lumber to a person with money, meanwhile the boys are planning to off a hog or two.

Yesterday we got the wire pulled and connected, then did a bunch of cleanup so's we can make another mess with mud on Monday.

I like your sentiments about sheetrock. We did our own house and the weight was what I had a hard time with especially the overhead stuff. And then mess of the mudding!!!

 

I have. The difference is who it benefits.

Home today with the dog to get projects done while campinspecter heads down island for doctor appointment.
Lots to catch up on mainly cooking for potluck tomorrow and cleaning house. It is starting to look like a dog house, lol

Nice job on the wiring, looks neat.
Before my career cooking dirt, I did electrical work for a few contractors. From small 14 AWG lighting circuits to some 2000 amp services with parallel runs of 4" conduit and 500 MCM wire.

Back at work for the 7AM-7PM shift this weekend, that day off went quick.
Got the last food plot harrowed
Then got the tractor set up for farwood duty...moved some oak and hickory logs to Blue Samson and got them bucked.
Enjoyed dinner at Longhorns with our friends.

Good morning. It is 40f up here at the cabin. My wife and I plan to work on some interior cleaning at the new cabin, mow and work on the gardens. Rain all day tomorrow.
