Good Morning… :coffee: … Coffee…. And then helping the GF getting a turkey prepared for the smoker, so we can have several meals while I’m down and out. Pain has been kept at bay for the most part. Get to uncover and take a shower today… But ice and elevation and naps has been the key so far…. Have a Good Day…

Thank you Dennis. If you're coming to the gun club for the get together maybe you can take one home in the raffle

Morning all. Overcast this morning. Prospect of rain this afternoon.
It has been a very busy couple of weeks here at the homestead. It was great to have all the family visiting last weekend. Sort of letdown when they all left. I worked two days this week and it was nice. I get to do all the easy stuff as a temp so it isn't as brain draining as "real" work. I even get told what to do!

Be devoted to one another in love. Honour one another above yourselves. Romans 12: 10

We can get caught up in our busy lives and forget there are people around us who need support and encouragement. People on the fringes of our lives and even those who are close to us. Jesus said he came to serve others and not to be served like our human tendency thinks we need. Take time today to talk to someone or give someone a smile and a hug and brighten their day. brenndatomu posted a poem in What's up today that really illustrates this verse in Romans

    Happy Sabbath, everyone.

Those are pretty cool, very nice work buddy!

I sell lumber to a guy that makes those same type boards, he says they sell like crazy at craft shows.

    Good morning, members.

Much better day today. 45⁰/63⁰ more sun than clouds.

Splitting and stacking wood this morning.

Mrs MikeInMa prefers pulled pork with no smoke. So there's a pork butt in the oven for several hours.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning folks. So the races got canceled last night. Ended up working in the shop and then spending a few hours with my stepson and his fiance. Even made it out for ice cream. 20250524_203915.jpg

Good morning everyone! It looks like today is the transition day out of this cold, wet pattern at least for a few days.

Morning all. Sunny here for awhile. We are taking a trip so reporting in is going to be a little erratic as if it hasn't been over the last couple of days. I will let you know why we are doing this in a couple of days if the trip is successful.

    Everyone have a great day

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. 69°\84° light rain. Another 7PM-7AM night, 2 down, long way to go. Missed church this morning, ate breakfast and sat down in my chair, that's all I remember for awhile.
We got a lot done at the personage yesterday. We had some ladies cleaning inside, a few outside and a good group of men doing yard work.
We hauled 2 1/2 trailer loads of stumps, roots and leaves to a burn pile. 20250524_085303.jpg 20250524_103251.jpg 20250524_103346.jpg
Share a smile, lend a hand, be encouraging and kind.

For the last few weeks we have been waiting for our pastor to decide if he was going to accept another call. He announced today he will be accepting the call so it looks like we will be looking for another pastor. He is going to Benson, MN.

Good morning everyone! No rain in the forecast for today so yard and garden work is the plan.

Yes sir, sometimes that happens. When we left the UMC to become an independent church, we had a pastor for a little while. We have had speakers and our old pastor part time for the past yr or so. He just took on 2 small country churches and we finally will have a new full time pastor starting June 8th.
May GOD lead the search for your new pastor.
