    Weather forecasters at it again. Forecast a low of 60 overnight and high of 70 today. I wake up and the temp is 37 with 52 now forecast for the high. It is getting worse all the time. When they miss the temp by over 20 degrees... Someone is sleeping.

    I think we will be transitioning to electric heat and only using the furnace in the coldest months. Mom is still able to do it herself most of the time and she has another neighbour who volunteered this spring.

    Morning all. Overcast with rain predicted. We seem to have fairly accurate weather guessers in our area. I think it is because the systems come in pretty well on schedule and don't get sidetrack by terrain. A few surprises now and again. It is nice when the weather is better than predicted.
    I am still not over my cold but I will wear a mask at church today. I am back to being backup pianist of last resort and children class teacher. I don't think I will stay for potluck though.

    Sawdust Man the house is starting to look nice with the siding on. More houses our way are going with the metal vertical siding. The inside of a local café used it as wall covering as well.

    For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Cor 5: 21

    What an exchange! We who are of sin cannot stand before God on our own merits. Our works in our own strength cannot make us worthy to stand before the throne of God. Yet, God in all his mercy and power, provided a way that we could be saved for all eternity. Jesus became the sacrifice that provided the payment for each of our sins. Taking on humanity's sinful nature and yet not sinning, he went to the cross to pay our debt. Now, with the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, Jesus gives us his righteousness to enable us to stand before the throne of God. Hallelujah!

    Morning all. Nice outside today. Might even see the sunshine.

    My cold is worse so I think I am getting better - hopefully this is the last day of it. Cleaning the church today, Men's world curling to watch and bookkeeping. Or just stay in bed for most of the day. campinspecter has had a busy morning. He cleaned the boiler, did a couple loads of wash and now is firing the boiler. He does the vacuuming when we clean the church.

    One more soggy-n-foggy day. 39⁰/63⁰ warming up, anyways. Steady rain later tonight.

    Another inside day. Leftover soup will do just fine for lunch.

    We're heading to Cape Cod on Friday for a week. There's always things to account for and make ready to load into minivan. So, some of that can take place today.

    Shop work for a short bit this morning, then more siding application, going to try and get it all on before tomorrow evening as the weather is expected to deteriorate considerably.

    Some storms formed yesterday afternoon. A long line of thunderstorms was hundreds of miles north to south. I learned of the storm from another hoarder and he said tornado warnings were out by him and he is only about 80 miles west of us. It looked bad on radar as it came this way but it turned out to be mostly very heavy rain. Power went out but not long enough to make the generator start. The storm itself was short lived.

    Another weird thing was the temperature during the day yesterday. There are 2 NOAA weather report areas not far from us and they are only 30-40 miles apart yet there was up to 27 degree temperature difference! At one time it was 70 at one and 43 at the other while we were at 53.
