    Morning all. Still dealing with the cold. I felt awful yesterday, today not so bad. Heavy rain last night but this morning is partially clear and warm for this time of year.

    Shadow has a vet checkup appointment today. Hard to believe she will be 14 in a month's time.

    I tried butter chicken fettuccini to see if it would burn the cold out. I guess it wasn't hot enough but more than hot enough for my taste buds. I have some left over for tomorrow night.

    Nice day ahead. 35⁰/55⁰ some clouds

    Along with some light yard work, I'll be moving some wood up to the deck rack.

    Some woodyard cleanup is needed. I'll break down some empty racks and remove leaves and other debris.

    Morning all. Overcast, windy and probably rainy today. Our trip went well yesterday and Shadow is apparently very healthy for her age.

    Chores today and potluck soup cooking for tomorrow.
    My cold is just in my sinuses which is a pain but at least I am not down and out on the couch.

    Prayers for the family next door to Mom. The neighbour that was keeping Mom's furnace going throughout the last few winters died on Monday. We grew up together and when the rest of us kids moved out and away, he stayed and lived in his family home. He was an awesome neighbour for Mom.
