I want to share this today on CHRISTMAS EVE...

What kind of God is this?

On this holy night, we wonder, what kind of God are you? This is the question for the ages. You lack origins, but there is no denying your existence. We see your imprint everywhere but can’t make out your face. You won a primordial battle over the evil one, but the struggle continues for us. You control everything but manage not to be controlling it seems. What kind of God are you to hide behind mystery?

Not too soon, not too late you laid your infant self in a mangy crib resting on sawbucks. Your special mother took good care of you. She knew you were special and wondered about you herself. So did the shepherds who found you and the kings who were on their way to find you by calculating your location from a star. Everyone who seeks you out has questions about you and questions for you. You answer, and we wonder deeply at the kind of God you are. You laid down your life, lifted up on crossbeams before your prime. You visited your own grave only briefly. You lived. You died. You live. We live for you. We die trusting you. We will live forever with you. You make and keep promises. You are the promise itself, the eternal Word come in flesh like ours. On this holy night, we worship you and wonder, “What child is this? What kind of God is this?” Gloria in excelsis Deo. You are God with us

 

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY....and a great Christmas Eve...don't forget to put out the snacks for ...hope y'all have a joyous time with family this week.
Remember those that are sick in tbe hospital, serving in the military, nursing homes or homeless.
Most of all, remember the REASON for the SEASON, JESUS, GOD born in the flesh, to die in the flesh, rise again, that we might believe in HIM and live with HIM forever.
My friends, we are never broken beyond repair, HIS GRACE will meet us anywhere...

Good morning T.Jeff and everyone! I'm so glad you can be off work for Christmas. The plant goes 24/7 it sounds like. Enjoy those grandbabies tomorrow!
We'll go down to my son's house midmorning tomorrow. We'll miss the present opening, but be there for the all presents have been opened letdown, lol.
Yesterday I felt really fortunate to be busy with wood work, I had to do some food shopping, and it was pretty chaotic on the roads, in the parking lots, and in the stores. It's so peaceful in my yard.
I wish you all a peaceful Christmas Eve!

PePe le'pew didn't quite make it to the other side yesterday. He stinkth...don't see very many, which is a good thing.

 

Good morning everyone. Merry xmas to all. If anybody is traveling this holiday season, please be safe. Have a merry time where your at and enjoy the extra five/ten pounds everybody gets.

 

Midwinter , took a little video of the biggest creek in our area this morning. It flows into the Oconee River, a major river here in middle GA...

 

Wow@ i didn't know you had gators that far inland!!

 

Up at 1:30, can’t sleep. Oh well it CHRISTMAS!

Wow, that will be soggy for a long time to come. You could have used that this summer.

Haha, I know you were being funny, but we do. Arross the road from where I took the video, is a big beaver pond. Last year, the folks that live close to it, right by the city limit sign, had this show up in their yard one morning....... Shade over 11'&450# IIRC...

Had a small one, about 4-5', show up in our neighbor Mike's yard one time too.
