Planning to do a little work around the woodyard, later today we'll take our youngest grandchild, Riley, to DQ for his 5th birthday today. They sure grow up fast.
We're blessed to have them.

Boy folks are up early! Good morning to you. Have a generator tech coming to determine what my needs are. Decided to go with a whole house unit and not deal with dragging my wheeled unit out in a storm.
Meeting a buddy for lunch rather than our usual Tuesday 6.00 movie. Only thing new is some sci-fi thing that bashes Trump throughout. Got on it quickly, didn’t they ?

Moving some logs about later. Getting busy for next year.

Morning all. After a few days of rain, we wake up to frost on the ground and pretty clear skies.
After breakfast, we put a few loads of firewood in the basement. Now it is on to chores and enjoying the sunshine. Rain expected later today.

Good morning everyone! It looks like a good day to get caught up on splitting. Sunny, low wind, most of the snow is gone, and the ground will be firm with temps in the high 20's.

 

Sounds like a good improvement in the weather. Being outside will feel good

Off today, so we're planning to go make pines trees go "boom baby"...vertical 2 horizontal...they're taking logs at the chip mill this week.
We had a good time with Riley at DQ for his birthday...
I believe he likes a Dilly Bar...
He will have his official birthday party later.

Shop work, then back to see what the man wants to pay us to do this afternoon.

Yesterday, after finishing up the milling, I sawed down a nice oak.....it's going to be used for a later phase of the man's project....we then hauled it and some big o'l dead ash home for milling later.

Morning all. Lovely day yesterday. Nice sunshine and the lawn got dry enough I could mow the area where Shadow does her business. The grass was getting too long for her.
We put a load of firewood into the basement and then moved some firewood from the row beside the fence into the wood shed. This has been sitting outside since 2018. About time we started using it.
Today is chores and a little this and that. Supposed to rain today but right now it is windy with clear patches in the sky. Just above freezing when I got up.

Sunny today and tomorrow. Very warm also. Going to try to hit the trout stream tomorrow after work. Weather guessers say big rains both days this weekend. Have a safe productive day everyone

 

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 52°\75° partly cloudy. Headed back to the pines thicket today. Yesterday went well, got 8 pines dropped safely and 2 loads of logs hauled to mill.
Got some today that will require cable pull assistance.
Helped our son last night do a little wiring on his house.

Morning all. Clear skies and below freezing this morning. Yesterday was a mixed bag of sunshine, hail and rain. We saw a beautiful full moon last night coming back from prayer meeting.
I don't know if we will see the eclipse tonight or tomorrow night. I am not sure which night it is supposed to be. 11:30 PM is rather late for us.
Shadow gets her teeth cleaned and nails clipped today. She is not a fan of the first one but she still has all her teeth at 14 so we get it done regularly.
