Decent day ahead. 24⁰/ 30⁰ breezy. There's a storm system with snow, that'll just miss us to the south. Cold week ahead.

We went ro my SIL's last night to play cards. We haven't done that for several months.

I'm planning to go for a morning walk. Then a couple of errands.

Bruins hockey tonight. I hope I fall asleep before they do.

It is 17 degrees here. Enjoying a predawn coffee. Today will be the last time to stock the woodshed. Not sure what is on the agenda otherwise.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SUPER SATURDAY. 31°\53° clear. Got to get the tractor from town where we hauled logs yesterday, then cut a friend a load of wood @ 10AM. Nap time later, got to cover 7PM-7AM shift for a coworker. Hauled 3 loads of logs yesterday...git'ter done down in Dixie...

Morning all. Overcast, grey and windy with the probability of rain. Typical winter's day. Every other day or so, we get a nice day without rain.

God looked at the space in the universe that was dark and void of anything. In their love, the Godhead decided to create our world, the heavens that we see and populate it with all things that would support life here. The last thing they did on the sixth day of creation was create man in their image so man could enjoy the blessings and riches of their creation. In the image of God were we created. With love we were created. Although we have endured countless centuries of sin introduced to our world by a rebellious angel, there are still beauty to enjoy and which speaks of God's love for us.
Take time to go outside today and look around at nature's beauty even if it is raining or miserable. The smallest thing has a beauty of its own.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1: 27

I woke up early. Why? Beats me. The reason could be due to the final plans for my dad's funeral are in place for his wake on Wednesday and funeral Thursday morning. I'll be happy to see this week come to an end.

Another cold windy day here. 22⁰/33⁰ some sun.

Winter storm Blair continues to track just south of us. we are fine with that. Good luck to those in its path. Lots of snow and accumulating ice, for some.



Looks like we'll be putting Christmas away today.

Football this afternoon. I'm sure there'll be a nap at some point.

Good morning everyone! Another cold and breezy day ahead, which is what is supposed to happen in VT in January, so that's good. Probably a nap later.

 

Good morning. -3f. I have been up a while helping my wife straighten up the house after a family party last night. I was cold at the lake yesterday morning, but not too windy. I got a portable dark house set up for our son and he ended up seeing 5 pike and spearing 3 (31”, 25”, 21”). We are having our boys over for a fish fry and the Vikings/Detroit football game this evening.

My wife and I have been visiting different churches most Sundays over the last 6 months, turns out there is one that suits us very well right in our village 7 miles from home.

Morning all. Sunny this morning and would be a perfect day to take down outside Christmas lights. But I have a funeral to go to this morning. Probably won't get back until mid afternoon. I will probably undecorate the inside of the house during tonight's football game.

The sound of the furnace woke me up. Woodstove has been reloaded and Jing up in temps.

Cold here. 17⁰/30⁰ Breezy overcast. No snow to be found. Maybe some later in the week.

Christmas is back into storage tubs. Two more to move to basement.

No real plans for the day. Just too cold for a walk. I'd like to go for a hair cut.
