I do feel less tense since I started BP meds. The good news is she decided I don't need any more at this time.

Morning all. Overcast and raining this morning.
We brought the RV home yesterday. Today we are supposed to park it properly and unload everything that won't be left in it over winter. I hope the rain lightens up. Forecast is for partially cloudy with drizzle by 1:00 PM. Right now it is raining.
I have to dig out the RV trailer cover and replace the front piece that rotted out. I still have an older cover and an old sail that I can use to piece it with. Not the easiest to sew on but it will be worth it.

MikeInMa Sorry to hear about your dad's fall.
T.Jeff Veal Sorry to hear about your Pastor's health issues. It is good to have him back in his own country for treatment.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning everyone! The 10 day forecast is nothing but sunshine. Mowing the lawn for hopefully the last time is the plan for today.

    Good morning, members.

Nice cool start. 36⁰/58⁰ clear bright moon is out!

Well my dad underwent hip surgery yesterday. He fractured the top of the femur near the ball/socket joint. The procedure using a plate and screws went as expected. On to the next steps.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Morning all. Starting off with a sunny day today.
Yesterday, we got the RV tanks emptied and it parked in its parking spot. Rain held off for most of the morning so I was able to get most of the stuff out of the RV. It is amazing what we take with us. I have to finish emptying the pantry and clean the bathroom and floor still. I haven't tackled the RV cover yet.

MikeInMa it is amazing how fast hip replacements happen now. We are hoping for a fast recovery for your dad.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good afternoon, ya'll. Hope ya'll are having a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 38°/67° clear today. Covering a coworker's vacation day, so not logging/woodcutting today...:(:(...but it will be OT...:emptywallet::)
Maybe some saw maintenance can get done this evening, need to bring in a bit of wood also.
After being outside with me yesterday, Miz Carol was a bit cold last night, lit our 1st fire of the season 20241016_200813.jpg

May he have a quick recovery, sounds like the same fracture mom had a few years ago.

Dad had a good night, last night.

Physical therapist had him up and moving today.

I'm told he'll be transported to a local rehab facility tomorrow. It'll be a busy day for me getting him settled.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. 38°/71°, clear. Going to help the friend with the sawmill this morning, he had 3 nice red oaks blow down during the storm. He needs the big logs moved to his mill and we're getting the rest for farwood. May see if we can drop that off at another friend's house in town.
Nap time after lunch, start 7PM-7AM shift for the weekend.
    Be blessed, be a blessing

I hope to finish up the last of my splitting for the year today. Now comes the hard part of getting a years worth of blocks cut and brought into the processing area.
