Good morning, members.

Cool day 56⁰/63⁰ breezy showers.

I was hoping to move the last of wood from my SIL's this morning. The showers could wash out our plans. Looks like a game-time decision for Truckaa and I.

I have a container of chicken soup thawing out for later.

It might be a good day to fire off the stove. There's always a scent that burns off with the 1st firing. Being a breezy day, a few open windows will clear out the scent. I think it's caused by a bit of dust that settles on it.

I started my 7PM-7AM shift last night, work till Tuesday morning

Friend finally got the 2 front tires for his tractor, so going by there when I get off to install them, swap out a shower head for our daughter then hopefully stack that hickory we split Thursday.

Morning all. A bit overcast this morning with the prospect of rain later today. Temps are much cooler as well. Nice to have the furnace running properly again.

As the disciples sat around the table waiting for the Passover meal, something was missing. Where was the servant to wash their feet? Who forgot to arrange this? To their horror, Jesus takes off his outer garments, wraps a towel around his waist and bends down to wash their feet and drying them with the towel. When reproached by the disciples, Jesus answered that although he was their Master and Lord, he came to serve not to be served. Likewise he expects the same from us. It isn't easy to remember but He will give us the power to be the servant He was.

“Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet” John 13:14

74/92 with "a chance of rain".....we got around. 1/2" last evening so, huuuuuumid.

Milk run this morning, then maybe I'll pick up the Chevy, the man says it was just a puked out distributor cap.....again.
Hopefully he's right because that's a cheap fix.

Yesterday's shower.

 

Amen, we had a foot washing ceremony at church one time, that is a humbling experience. Really makes you think about what JESUS meant.

Showers this morning. 55⁰/65⁰ cool and breezy day ahead. We received an inchmof rain yesterday. It was well needed. It's been 30 days since any rain.

This morning will be try number two of moving wood. We were rained out yesterday.

I need to break out the leaf blower. Time to clear entrance areas as leaves are being tracked indoors.

Unsure of afternoon activities. I have foot surgery coming up on Tuesday. So, I'm trying to deal with various things before then. Unsure of exactly how laid up I'll be on the other side of Tuesday.

Good morning. It is finally cooling off a little here after 12 days of above normal temperatures.

 

We hold one before every communion service. Makes you more thoughtful of the entire service.

Morning all. Up early and it is dark out. On the move this morning. Without a sewer dump at our site, we want to be early to the sani-dump as a lot of people will be moving out today.
Hardly any rain yesterday and the sun come out in the afternoon to really light up the colour in the trees.

Planning to rest today....if the farm alows.....we had a batch of piglets arrive on Friday, then my daughter just informed me that two more sows delivered last night......so we'll be pig sitting for a few days.
