Machanical issues are no fun out on the road, will pray for ya!

 

Good afternoon, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 69° this morning early, heading to 89°. Clear skies. Last day of work until Friday. Looked at some storm damage trees yesterday after work, then picked up mower from neighbor. We got a tote prepped for chunks after dark. Hope to start filling it tonight. Got to hitch trailer and load SxS, going to JAX in the morning.

Good morning everyone! Rain all day and temps in the 50's. I'm probably either going to turn the furnace on later to make sure it's functional for the season, or build a small fire from lumber cutoffs. I think I know which it will be.

What a lovely fall day! 63⁰ inside windows open all night. Dewpt 49⁰ Bright moon shining! 54⁰/72⁰

Too bad I have a dentist appointment this morning. 2nd attempt at part 2 of 2 for a crown. Hoping to catch up with a friend for lunch.

I will go for a walk this morning.

I started final preps of the woodstove yesterday. Installed a new cat, and replaced the gasket that goes under the top.

We have a guy coming later this morning to apply/spray a type of moss killer to the entire house and screenhouse roofs.

Shop work this morning / roof work later.

We got one side un-roofed, rebuilt, and ready for shingles yesterday, going to try and get th'other side ready today.

Morning all. Waiting on repairs to the RV and you know how that goes. The waiting part is the hardest. Met some awesome people through this experience.
Rain this morning but hopefully it clears up to just cloudy as they work on the RV.

Another nice fall day ahead. 54⁰/76⁰ low humidity.

I plan to move the wood rack to the deck and move some wood to it. So it begins.

Area towns are reporting mosquito spred diseases, EEE and West Nile. I'll use bug spray while working outdoors.

I need to run a few errands as well.

Back to the roof project today. We're going to try and get it shingled by quitting time.....we got the second side prepped yesterday.

Looks good. I was wondering why take off a nice metal roof, but I see it didn't have enough overhang......big mistake. I like the way ya'll are extending the rafters. Nice job.

 

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 69°\86°, clear. Low tonight is forecast to be 61°......haven't that in awhile...open a window and turn on the fan...
Loading equipment to go help an older friend clean up a big oak that blew over Sunday evening.
Also, say a prayer for the tractor, they got it broke apart. One part is needed and only 1 showing available in TX warehouse. Sad parts for a 18 yr old tractor are obsolete now...

Morning all. Rain for most of the day yesterday. Looks like cloudy and dry for today.
Repairs are underway for the trailer. Probably be on the road tomorrow. It has been quite the adventure.

It used to have metal siding as well so no overhang required, he just doesn't like metal I guess.
