    Afternoon all. Laundry this morning so I didn't get to surf the net until now. Sunshine this morning with overcast this afternoon. A lot cooler today.
    Yesterday we went for a river cruise and then we saw a couple of ships going through the Iroquois lock. Unique lock as they didn't lower or raise the water in the lock. Ships just sailed right through. I guess it all depends on the river's condition at the time.

    Backwoods Savage I hope today is going well for you.

    It’s just one of those things o got really good at
    I started as a ground guy then went to the roof and three years ago I became a repair/service man.
    I guess the heat really doesn’t bother me. I am usually pulling 10hr days when others have called it quits at noon

    Yesterday did not go well. I would have loved working outdoors with the cool weather but it was migraine time. Dang. Today will be better. Also my shoulder seems much better this morning. Perhaps the rest did it some good.

    I'll be heading across town to cut wood at a place I cut a couple of weeks ago. Good weather for this activity.

    Morning all. Temps last night dipped way down so the furnace ran instead of the AC. Looks like another sunny day. We are moving today to a spot next to the Saint Lawrence river. Answer to prayer to find a spot on a long weekend without booking weeks or months in advance.
    Watched more boats go through the Iroquois lock. It is rather fascinating. The last one tied up and sat for awhile as the gates were closed on either end. We think they lower the water level so if they did, it wasn't by much.

    Backwoods Savage sorry to hear about the migraine, but good news about the shoulder.
