Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 72°\98° forecast, cloudy, so humidity is way up.
We went out for lunch yesterday after church, saw 101° on truck temp coming home.
Working on one of my days off to cover coworker's vacation day. Make a 36hr check look better with 48hrs on it.
We'll see what happens this evening, still have a few things to move for our son.
    Be blessed, be a blessing...

It must be the week for dental repairs at FHC. On Wednesday I will have bone replaced in my jaw. They use powdered human bone and then sew up the gum. I don't think it will be too bad, but will be glad when it's over.

101 is just way too hot. I prefer the 70's we've got right now.

Good morning everyone! Nice day ahead. Maybe I can get the lawn mowed. Hopefully the garden dries out enough to do some weeding. It's mud now.

    Good morning, members.

Nice air today! 63⁰/90⁰ dewpt 55⁰

After having the house closed up for a week, it was nice to have the windows open yesterday and last night. I'll leave them open today until the sun comes around, this afternoon. The AC will most likely be put on.

Chimney sweep arrives this morning. I have the woodstove opened up. They'll vacuum the area around the cat.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 67°/100°, another hot dry day down here. We need rain bad. Going to move a tree for our cousin. Tree is in town, it's down, pile brush and limbs, get main trunk for farwood. Then work a bit at our son's place when he gets up, moving his grandfather clock to our house for now.
Meeting on county property taxes tonight, they went :loco: :loco: ...
Be encouraging, share a smile, lend a hand...

Ok. Yesterday was a beautiful day weatherwise. Great! I can get more badly needed work done outside. I was busy all morning, took an hour off at mid-day then started again. A little more busy time then got the tractor out and headed to the woods. For those who know some about our place, I went across the road where there is still a pastel of wood that needs to be brought home. Some was split and some unsplit.

I parked the tractor right against some big logs so I could just roll them into the bucket as they are oak and very heavy. I found one of them had not been cut all the way through and had to be moved. What I should have done was to reposition the tractor so I could just get the logs that were cut. However, the pickeroon was on the tractor and most times I'd rather use that than a cant hook so I decided I'd just move that big thing then continue loading the rest.

There was room between those logs and the next bunch so I just hooked onto that big sucker and pulled with all my might. Then as I stepped back a little, my foot hit the logs behind me, I lost my balance, which caused the pickeroon to lose it's bite. Picture pulling hard then as it let loose I went flying, sort of like a wounded partridge. Bam, I hit logs and it hurt but I also heard what sounded like a bone cracking. I ended up on the ground flat on my back but hurt so much it was a couple minutes before I could move at all and then just barely. This is not good.

I was quite a distance from the road an would not have been visible from the road. My phone! Whoops, it is on the tractor. I don't know how long I laid there but I was finally able to use my left hand to move one log a bit, then a painful roll but could not get up. Long story short, I did finally get up, but then as I was struggling I almost crapped myself. Oh gee, another problem and that added to the difficulty of getting on the tractor.

But I did make it to the house and did what had to be done first. Then I called my neighbor and she came on the run. Not much she could do though.

So my right shoulder is extremely sore as is the arm. A bruise on my head. My whole body hurts and it was a huge struggle just getting dressed this morning. But I am out of bed and alive. There will not be much work done today.

Big storm moving across MI. Mostly heavy rain. We've had lightning but not a lot. Looks like a squall line missed us and is dipping SE.

    Tough to like that post.

You're supposed to work smahtah not hahdah!

Glad you got yourself out of the woods and contacted someone nearby.:handshake:

Here's hoping your pain subsides and nothing serious makes itself obvious.
