Got ribs ready for the smoker, burgers and apple sausage to cook also. Couple of the kids are coming over. Got to clean the smoker and hope to work on the yard some more.

Good Late Morning.

My wife and I just rolled in from a few days of work at the old homestead/cabin. We got right up early and hit the road home by 5 AM. We had some nice weather to accomplish our goals.

We are visiting relatives grave sites at Fr. Snelling today, including my father-in-law who piloted over 500 Huey gunship missions in support of US Special Forces team insertions and extractions in Cambodia, and my Uncle who was an infantry man (Korean War)…both Purple Heart recipients. We can’t honor and thank our veterans enough.


These will all have flags today thanks to volunteers.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 67°/90°, overcast now, sunny later. Planning to work on the woodyard awhile, then maybe cut grass this evening. Got some oak already cut in rounds to process, then have some of the tree we cut Saturday to do.
Our son starts his new job at our plant today, had to go in @9AM for orientation, tomorrow will be the reality check. If he goes to shift, he will start @5AM, if he is on clean up crew, he will go in @6AM.
His old job varied, depending on where he had to drive.
Remember the GOLDEN RULE...

Morning all. Yes, we have joined the group in the Eastern Time zone. Long trip yesterday as we took the scenic route. No propane this morning as the bottle ran out last night. I have to get campinspecter up to change the bottle out. First I have to get in my FHC fix.

Beautiful sky last night and today. Very clear. Went around and through some heavy rain yesterday.
