Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Watching the news this early morning, saw the weather up north. Hope all my friends up there are warm and safe. Did y'all lose power Backwoods Savage ,huskihl ,amateur cutter ...saw that parts of Michigan did. I see it's getting rough in the NE too.
Finally off today, so we will work on the wood yard this morning, cutting up 2 piles of limb wood for the small rounds shed, then deliver a load and then have to take down a BIG limb where the new shed is going. Friend is bringing his company boom truck over this afternoon.
Be safe in this weather. Don't want to lose any of my friends...
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

Yes sir, woke up about 3:30, fell asleep early on the couch, after I started a fire for my hunny, didn't even see the late football game...

Good morning everyone! We got this overnight... IMG_20191202_3280.jpg IMG_20191202_9234.jpg
Fortunately we get a lull during the day today, so we can clean up the driveway before we get whomped again overnight.
My son, DIL, grandson, and ex-husband had their flight out of Toronto back to Boston cancelled. No new seats available until Wednesday or Thursday, so they rented a SUV and are driving back today. It's an 8.5 hour drive in normal conditions. Glad I'm not along for the ride!
Have a great day, enjoy bare ground if you've got it.

That's a pretty picture of the snow and your stacks.
Hope they make the drive back safely

Just got off the couch and turned the oven and coffee pot on, added a few pieces of wood to the fire.

Not too bad here Jeff. Little wind & snow, but no power outages of any size. Have a great day all!

Not much of a storm here so no power outages. All we got was about an inch or so of snow. End of storm.

Got about 8” Saturday night. Wife works for the area electric co-op and said there were 8900 members without power. It won’t be long and they’ll be up and running. We rarely lose power at home

Good afternoon all. Still snowing slightly outside. But looking across the valley it might pick up a bit. Need to bring in a cart load of wood but putting it off. I do not like cold anymore. Well not much going on, so have a good day all and keep safe.

Good morning everyone! It's snowing pretty hard right now. Last night we had some freezing rain, and this came down. IMG_20191203_52690.jpg
Just as well, we sort of wanted that limb gone anyway. Lots of trips to the dump there.
I think I'll stay housebound again today, my husband has been taking my car to work, since it has AWD. I have no reason to go anywhere. More shoveling today. My son and family made it as far as Worcester last night, will drive into the city once the snow slows down.
Have a good (and safe) day everyone.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Got a little cool down here last night...more than I expected... IMG_20191203_071621797.jpg
Did get a few things accomplished yesterday. Our friend and neighbor, Mike, came over and we got 2 big piles of limb wood cut and stacked, delivered a load, a friend picked up a load, and the boom truck came. Got the HUGE oak limb and the dead pine next to another shed and electric service line taken down by 6:15, took a little over an hour to do both. I'll get more pictures today. IMG_20191202_165942462.jpg 11095.jpeg 11098.jpeg That limb is over 24" where I notched it. I'll post more in the "Git'ter done down in Dixie" thread.
