Morning all. Clouds and sunshine today. I have been left home alone to get done all that I planned today. campinspecter is off to find a particular plug for our generators. Nothing to be found locally so it is off down island he goes.
Safe travels for all those heading to Backwoods Savage's GTG. We wanted to attend this year BUT medical travel insurance for traveling in the USA is unreal. More than what our budget could afford. I hope everyone there has a great time.

Great news MikeInMa about your dad. I hope all goes well in his recovery.
Sawdust Man if we have turtles/tortoises in our area, I have never seen them.
John D nice that you joined us in the morning. At least it is for me morning. By the time you read this, it is probably closer to mid day.

Good morning everyone! My back says I need a break from yard work today. It's a good day for a break- it's raining and my wife has a colonoscopy so I'm the driver.

Dad did make it back home yesterday. Very emotional day. it's been a long month for mom and dad. I'll be checking on them both this morning.

I'm hoping to have lunch with a friend.

Planning to take the day off, probably going for a drive with my bride on account of its being our anniversary & my birthday today.....will see what develops.



Yesterday was desk work in the morning then we tested the mini split, after finding the results to be very good we removed two big window AC's, one of which we installed in the shop after some modification to the window and running another 220v circuit.

Morning all. Sun is shining and I think we are in for a good day. I got sheets out on the outside line yesterday and they actually dried. Grass is growing again. I am off to visit Mom today and campinspecter has a Blue Jays game to watch. They sure are struggling. Finished a puzzle last night. It was a hard one. Last one I will do for awhile It sure is satisfying to sit and look at it all done. I had one spot where I couldn't find a piece to fit and so I thought I had lost a piece. I get down to the last piece and it doesn't fit that spot. Turned out I had a piece in the wrong spot so I switched pieces. Viola - everything fits.

Everyone have a safe travel day if you are going to the GTG.

 

I almost thought you where going to say you got a hammer and made it fit

 

I was ready to go through the vacuuming garbage and see if the missing piece was there but then when I had a piece left over, it took a while to find where the right one was. I will post a picture a little later.
