    Didn't make it to the woodyard, got the mower put and ready for service. Winter weeds needed cutting, helped Miz Carol around the yard. Not sure what happens today, maybe something productive.

    Several species that grow slowly during winter, then take off growing when it begins to warm up, they die out in summer.
    Henbit is one, clover is another.

    Nice day ahead. 33⁰/60⁰ sunny calm.

    I'll be going for a nice walk this morning.

    Probable lunch with a friend.

    The days have arrived where we're not burning around the clock. Once the stove is cold, late afternoon, I'll build a fire to light off in the morning. I'll have to stack up on sticks for kindling. The yard is full of them after big winds the past few days.

    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. 42°, heading to mid 70's, clear. Gonna piddle around around the woodyard a bit this morning, the funeral for a longtime church member and cousin at 11. This afternoon taking tractor to town, friend next to where we did the Plantation job is thinning his woods. Says he has plenty of logs for us. Some firewood, some pulpwood...

    44/80..... way too hot!

    Ended up just dropping the mill at the job yesterday and not cutting anything because the guy's schedule was messed up, so we're going back to work there today.

    Picked up 2 tons of farm feed, and took mama to the chiropractor.

    Morning all. Just above freezing but as the week ends, our temps are going to soar up to summer temps. So much for the very small snow pack we gained this past couple of weeks.
    Spend the day with Mom yesterday. campinspecter stayed home and got the truck ready to go get firewood tomorrow.
    Hopefully sunshine today.
