    Morning all. Woke up to sunshine this morning with a few black clouds hanging around. Unexpectedly we came out of church yesterday and the sun was shining. Rain had been predicted for the whole day. From the window of the living room, we saw some awesome rainbows.

    Bookkeeping, sewing?, and men's Canadian Championship curling today. We have already put firewood into the basement for the next couple of firing.

    Got a heads up that an oak and a walnut tree was going to cut down this weekend. Well let’s put it this way…. Only on tree came down and it finished up around 2 pm … tree work isn’t for the faint of heart… especially for the newbies… anyways got three trips out of it… some kind of white oak. I had my JD for the heavy lifting… there was another older gentleman that had a tilt trailer with a dingo style piece of equipment. We got pretty much all the big wood out… he took all the smaller stuff. As I was promised the big stuff…. Then after loading my tractor… the home owner was trying to cut the stump off with his rental saw (20-24” bar)…. I offered to help… got my 500 out and it took longer to get my saw out of my and to walk over there than to slice through it. He was impressed with my 32” bar…

    Morning all. Overcast and grey out there with the wind picking up. We might see sunshine but I doubt it. They are promising sunshine next week. Got a few things done yesterday but stayed up too late so moving slow this morning.
