The wood base was to account for uneven ground.

    Mike nailed it...
Ground was 16" low across the 26' width. To pour a pad would have been $2800 more just for the concrete, thought about building it up level to wall with gravel, but it would have had a long ramp to drive truck on. Company said it ok to set on wall, since ot is screwed together and anchored down.

Good morning. Turned the corner on age 60 during the week with a celebration after work with my parents, our children, son-in-law, our boy’s girlfriends, and our grandchildren.

I stay off the internet during the week, so a belated thanks members for the b-day wishes from FHC..

Snowing not too far from us. Some in our forecast but we are hoping it will miss us. The spring birds say it is spring! I have never seen the amount of sandhill cranes we are seeing this year.

Morning all. Rain, rain and more rain. It rained all yesterday with wind. Rain all day today. A weather cell is stalled over the coast here. I think it will lighten up tomorrow.

Jesus arrived at the Pool of Bethesda and looked over all the sick and injured people laying in that beautiful spot. They were all waiting for a miracle of healing relying on a myth of being healed when you were first in the water when the waters stirred. One man, especially, had been laying beside the pool for 38 years. He could not walk and his heart was sore. Jesus leaned over the man and looked him in the face. "Do you want to be healed?" was the question he asked. The man answers that he had no help to get him into the pool when the water stirred. With power in his voice, Jesus said "Get up. Pick up your mat and walk.” The man rose to his feet, picked up his mat and started to walk, praising God for the healing.
When we look into the face of Jesus, we can see healing for our physical bodies but more important, there is healing for our sin sick heart and mind. Reach out today for the forgiveness of your sins and walk in a newness of life in Jesus Christ.

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— Ephesians 2: 8

    Happy Sabbath, everyone

    Beetle/bug tracks, I think.
I've seen similar geology when I cleaned out the cabinet under the table saw.

Good Morning... :coffee: ... Nice cloudless morning... stars are out in full force this morning... Didn't get my nap yesterday... Stayed at work too long trying to get ready for the audits next week... With a new auditor, you never know what the background and pet peeves they have...

    Good morning, members.

Over an inch of rain overnight. Cloudy day ahead. Showers for the next few hours. 43⁰/51⁰

I hope to go for a walk, once the clouds stop crying.

This-n-that for the rest of the day.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

I always used to like digging into sawdust piles. I am strange, I know. One other thing is when I worked at the mill, during the fall and into the winter we would bury cider in the piles and quicky get hard cider!
