Morning all. It snowed all day yesterday and we ended up with about 6 inches of snow. Today is grey, overcast and wet as the temps are above freezing and expected to rise so this should all disappear in a day or so. Crazy weather.

I am off to work this morning at my old job as substitute. It will be nice to catch up on everything. Hopefully I haven't forgotten too much.

Good morning everyone! I managed to snag that CL score I mentioned yesterday. Two loads of Cherry, Hard Maple, and some kind of softwood about 2 miles from home. Random lengths so a lot of sizing but that's ok.

Planning to make sawdust today, I've got an acquaintance who's looking at buying a mill and he wants to work with me for a day to get an idea what's what in sawmills.


Got some 12' material stacked yesterday.

Morning all. Freezing temps this morning with the threat of warming up and making all the snow go away. Things started melting yesterday but then the temps dropped again.
Yesterday was fun at school. Being a temp means you get to do the easy stuff and visit with people while getting paid.
Busy day today so we are up early.

Good evening, ya'll. Hope ya'll have had a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. It's been cool all day, 58° was the high, big change from the rest of the week. It's my FRIDAY......got all of my 7 days off, so far. Maybe a few things can get done. Had a BOOORRRING safety meeting this morning...otherwise work was fine.
A coworker that got hired the same day I did, 4-12-89, basically retired today. He will use his vacation days and sign his papers March 20th. Glad he made it...

Late Morning to you as well. Yesterday we made a trip down to the dentist. It is 125 miles away. Weather seemed okay so we took the car. Well, there was snow falling and roads not plowed for half the trip. It took an hour longer than expected. Fortunately we left really early so we had lots of time. Getting to our destination there was no snow so we added another event to the trip. Coming home was almost the same. Road had been plowed but half the trip was in falling snow with it sticking to the road. We haven't seen anything of winter so far this season and here it is at the end of February. Our snow is the wet, slippery, slushy kind just at the freezing level with high humidity.
