    That is an interesting thought and it has happened more than once here. Some friends and were discussing it recently and one said the biggest storm he remembers here was around 50 years ago and it happened after a very warm period. I remember a few and yes, it seems we often get hammered after a warm spell.

    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. 34° heading to 60°. It was cold in the house, 64° about 3AM, so I built a fire. Nice and toasty at 74° now. Got a few errands to run this morning, then hope to work on the woodyard this afternoon. Did deliver 2 loads yesterday.

    It was the 1st weekend in November when we last went.

    Reports from area FHC'ers, indicates 1-2 feet of snow in the woods. We might even have a visitor(s). Who knows?

    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. About 28° this morning, heading to 64°. Woke up about 1:30 cold, got the fire going again. It's a blue flame kinda morning... 20240208_051343.jpg
    Some odd jobs around the yard, then another errand before lunch.
    Started working on the retainer wall yesterday, where the camper shed will be.

    Got another layer to add today, broke both T30 bits we had. View attachment 409301
    We have some 14" screws to tie it all together, then drill holes and install 5' rebar stakes to hold it down.
