Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Looks like I joined the early bird crew today...lol...
Been up several times, started a fire and dozed off before I put more wood in, with damper open...:picard::emb:...woke up with tiny coals...tried again a little after 3AM, thank God for a propane torch......and dry wood...:yes:rolling now. 38° outside.
Got to deliver a tote of wood this morning, then take our oldest daughter to Dr appointment. I'll eat lunch with her, while we're out, I'm gonna shop for my hunny a Bday present, coming soon on Valentines day.
Glad the trials went well yesterday, Kevin.
    Be blessed, be a blessing.

    Good morning, members.

    Happy Gobblers Knob Day!

Overcast day ahead. 35⁰/40⁰ with showers later in the day.

We took delivery of a new vehicle yesterday. Still lots to learn about it. We're both pleased with it.

I'll be visiting my folks this morning, while out running some errands.

    20240202_070142.jpg

    38/68 mostly sunny.

Planning to see if I can fix the Yukon today.

Finished the portable sawing job yesterday, so need to get the barn cleaned up and reinstall the mill.

A fine drive home from work last evening...

Morning all. Overcast with drizzle today. Starting tomorrow we are forecasted to get dry and colder (still above freezing) weather.
I have been busy. I got called into work at an elementary school yesterday and today. Way different than high school but it was fun. I had to learn a few new things so the day went by fast.
I finally finished that puzzle and yes, I know. no pics or it didn't happen. Hopefully I can post a pic tonight.

    Everyone have a great day.

Here is the picture. It is Indigenous design by a Haida artist of an Octopus. I ended up with an extra piece

    Good morning, members.

I actually saw the moon and stars this morning. It's been a couple of weeks. We're supposed to see the sun today. 29⁰/38⁰. Sunny and clouds.

I'll be heading to TSC this morning with a gift card. I'll pick up a friend along the way.

Unsure what's up for the afternoon. Might be a nice time to go for a walk.

Good morning. The mild winter continues here for the foreseeable future so I pulled the spear house off the lake this past week. Ice is still around 12” but getting soft quickly. It will be portables for the remainder of the season and the few more times I get out. My wife and I are starting a big home interior painting project this weekend.

It seemed good to go for a walk in the woods yesterday and not wade through snow. Even though it only got to 34 it felt like spring and we even had a short sight of the sun. It is predicted we should see the sun for 2 or 3 days and it is welcome.

48/61 sun, then clouds, then rain by tonight.

Cleanup and sawmill setup, then a bit of sawdust production is today's plan.

With a bit of redneckery.....Sam and I got the fuel pump replaced yesterday, and it appears my diagnosis was correct.

Morning all. Frost on the ground this morning and it could be sunshine today. High overcast right now but we should get a pretty nice sunrise this morning.

Jesus came to Matthew's tax collecting booth and said "Follow me". Matthew got up, left everything behind and followed Jesus for the rest of his life. What had Matthew heard or seen about Jesus before Jesus bid him come. Was it the witness of those who had heard and taken to heart what Jesus was saying and doing? Was it that Jesus shone a light on the scriptures and released people from the bondage of legalisms the teachers of the law had burden the people with? Was it that the hope of salvation and eternal life was more plain as Jesus spoke and Matthew wanted to hear more of it. Jesus is still saying "Follow Me and I will give you rest". Rest from the burden of sin and despair. Forgiveness and power to overcome your sins He offers each of us. Turn to Him today and give Him your heart to be made new.

12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ (Hosea 6:6) For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Matthew 9:12,13

    Happy Sabbath everyone

Good morning everyone! Sun and clouds for several days. Tuesday is supposed to be full Sun. No drizzle, fog or rain for several days. Maybe they got it right this time?
