30 degrees this morning. The first time in a while we've been below freezing. They say we may even get a couple peeks of the sun but mostly cloudy says there won't be much.

    Good morning y'all!

    20240129_073626.jpg

    27/56 sunny!

Planning to start on the next lumber order today.....after cleaning up from the last ones.

Spend a good part of the day yesterday fishing with Sam, and I accidentally caught a fish...he still hasn't caught anything and is pretty bummed.

Morning all. Wind and rain for today and really mild. If the days were longer, I say it was April not the end of January. Bulbs will be popping up everywhere now. Exciting games yesterday. campinspecter was rooting for the winning team in the first game and our team lost the second game. It still should be a great Super Bowl this year. We had recorded the games as we had a business meeting in the afternoon. Nice to sit down and skim through the commercials.

MikeInMa Always nice and exciting to get a new to you vehicle. We just acquired two when I retired. They should last us for quite some time.

Sawdust Man Isn't that always the way. Sorry to hear Sam is disappointed but at least you proved the equipment worked. It looks like it was lovely day to be outside enjoying yourselves. I can't get over how much sunshine you get at this time of year.

Backwoods Savage I would think that a touch of frost would keep the bugs at bay for a little while longer. With the warm weather we have been having, I expect bugs will be showing up quite soon.

    Everyone have a great day.

    Good morning, members.

Cloudy day ahead. 28⁰/28⁰ We had a dusting of snow overnight. Enough to push around.

I'll be bringing wood to the deck.

Unless something comes up, I'll start bringing some camping equipment up from the basement.

    Be safe

Morning all. Wet this morning. Dark too as we got up early. Busy day today. I got bookkeeping done and some playing in the sewing room yesterday. Almost finished my puzzle. It is down to try every piece in as many spots as you can and hopefully it fits somewhere. I have about 30 pieces left - all the same colour. :hair:
    Patience is a virture?

    Everyone have a great day.

You need to post a picture of the completed puzzle, or it never happened.

If I ever get it finished. I know my Mom loves me but these puzzles she gives me are hard. This is the second one she has gifted me with.

Good afternoon, ya'll. Hope ya'll are having a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. It was 28° on the way to work this morning, a balmy 60° now, blue skies. A smooth day so far at work. Not sure of the plan for this evening.

    Good morning, members.

Still winter here. 26⁰/38⁰. Even a threat of sunshine. We haven't had blue skies for over a week.

I'll bring more wood to the deck.

I might play cards with a friend this evening.

    Be safe

I see our forecast is for warmer but nothing like what you get. They keep forecasting we should be in the 40's but we haven't been getting there. For example, 43 was predicted yesterday and we got to 36 briefly. That seems to be our normal. And fog over and over. You'd think we lived near the ocean.
