Morning all. Dark and windy here this morning. Got a lot done yesterday but didn't un-decorate the living room. I hope to get that done this morning. Getting the bug deflector put on the truck today. They really do work.

Chvymn99 I am glad you slept until 3:00 AM. Shadow and you get up about the same time.
MikeInMa campinspecter bought an electric snowblower last year to do the deck and driveway. It works really well for what we bought it for. I think it will be a snowless winter this year. The grass needs mowing now.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. It was 25° when I left for work, getting cloudy now, 43°...good chance of rain this evening. Another day of 7AM-7PM shift. Stopped by our daughter's house last night, had some grandsons time.
Need to do a little grocery shopping after work tonight.

We have a plug in Troybilt snow thrower. It's mostly used for backup. You're right, it does fine for what it's designed for.

 

campinspecter hates corded tools so he went with a battery one. Consider the small area we have to do, I think it will work out perfect.

Good morning all. Odd night again where I woke at four. I think I will go to the country restaurant across the county line. It opens at 6:00. My Kawasaki Mule is ready for pickup. It is on the other side of the county on the west side of me.

Should be good, ordered with a bed lift unit and roof. Anxious to put some dents in it. Good thing about retiring, I can take a nap when the need comes.

Turns out the new walmart battery I put on the mill about two months ago is shot....kinda irritating, but at least it was an easy fix.


Bucked up some nicer oaks yesterday....

I have found the Chamomile Tea goes through so fast that getting up at night is in order. I am glad it is working for you.

 

Morning all. Just got back from our first walk of 2024. Not the easiest to do when it has been about two years since we walked consistently. Skies were clear with a half moon showing. Today chores, bookkeeping and maybe some sewing. I hope it is nice for a few days but I doubt it.

Good afternoon, ya'll. Hope ya'll are having a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. Light rain overnight, went to clean it off with the wipers this morning...solid...temp gauge on truck was 29°. Took a few minutes to scrape it off, 56° now, blue sky day. It's my FRIDAY......looks like I'll get all my 7 days off.
We hope to get the camper moved to the house this weekend, got a few loads of wood to cut and deliver. All depends on the weather. Need to fill up the wood boxes tonight.
