Good New Year morning, members. I woke up breathing in the new year!

Decent day ahead. 33⁰/40⁰ dry

I didn't stay up for the click of the odometer.

I will be outside this morning for this-n-that. Maybe fire up the snowblower just to remind it that it might be needed....someday.

There'll be some sirloin tips on the grill this afternoon. Some homemade baked mac-n-cheese, and broccoli.

I noticed there's snow potential in the forecast. Sunday. But, the timing and what where will oscillate.

 

Good morning, ya'll. Happy New Year. Hope ya'll have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Working 7AM-7PM, cooking dirt. It was about 40 this morning. We got back about 8:30 last night, didn't leave any heat on, it was 54° inside......got a fire going quick. Got to load up the wood boxes this evening...

Morning all. Although I am later this morning. Slept in and then this and that to do. We had a very nice evening last night. It wasn't staying up late. Instead we gathered at the church for fellowship soup and buns and then held our communion service. Everyone was home by 8:00 PM. I was quite surprised that we didn't see any RCMP check points out but I guess it was too early for that.

Chores today, bookkeeping etc. Maybe watch some college ball. Skies were mostly clear this morning when the sun came up. I think it is going to slid into rain for tomorrow.

I'll do some yard cleanup, ahead of snow in the forecast for this coming weekend. There's always something to do outdoors before being snow covered.

Morning all. Dark, overcast and windy this morning. I think we get rain today. Busy with chores and bookkeeping today. Watched football yesterday. Quite the games. Trying to mend socks, knit and watch TV gets rather complicated when the games are close. I think I will un-decorate today. I really enjoy the tree in the evenings. With the changing colours, it is better than a fireplace - Ooops, I think I lost my FHC membership card.

MikeInMa I just checked the Bruins win/loss record. They aren't doing too bad. I expect the Canucks will freefall any time soon.

Backwoods Savage I enjoy the wind as long as it doesn't take our power out. Something about watching the waves hitting the shore. I guess that is because I grew up on an island.
Sawdust Man those logs look a bit better for lumber making.
