Morning all. Busy day yesterday as we went down island shopping. Our new car uses a very thin oil and of course no one around here carries it especially the nearest dealership. Got to see a herd of elk appear out of the darkness as we headed down. They are HUGE.
Off to work as a sub at a very small school. I think I will be knitting most of the day.

    Everyone have a great day.

We are a kaolin plant. White clay. Our products are used mostly as pigment in paint, as well as other materials. It will hold dry powder clay. Storage tank for 1 of our semi-bulk baggers.

I have to go to town today but probably will need to take a detour because a trash truck dumped a load on the road! I only saw it from a distance and talked to one driver. He said there was a lot of glass involved so best to not try to go through there. There were a couple of trucks there cleaning up but I don't know if they finished or not.

Good morning. We are up and at em. Wife is whirling around wrapping presents and making cookies. I am able to take a little time to check in here. Later, our 4 year old granddaughter’s dance recital and family dinner out at a restaurant with her great grandparents (my parents).

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SUPER SATURDAY. Warm low 50's and cloudy today. Going to load some oak in a minute, coworker wants a load, he's on nites, don't want to keep him up too long. Then planning to CSS more oak when we get back. Community meal at church this evening, delivering veggie soup to some homes.
    Be blessed, be a blessing...

Morning all. Dark, very wet and windy out there this morning. Sounds like it is going to be happening all day. Yesterday was fun. I got to sharpen pencils, re-shelve library books, answer the phone a couple of times, load the photocopier and cut up fruit for lunch time. I had forgotten how diverse the job is at a small school.

Immanuel - God with us. The wonder of the birth of Jesus Christ is that the Creator of the universe, the world we live in and each one of us, came down to be one of us because he loved us so. His lost sheep and wayward people he loved enough to come and live and suffer with us. All to pay the penalty of sin that each one of us owes. Let us remember how much he gave up for each one of us.

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3: 16, 17

    Happy Sabbath, everyone

    Good morning, members.

Murky and gloomy day ahead. 45/60. Foggy now with rain later. Heavy rains coming for overnight.

I hope to get outside and tend to some more yard stuff.

I'll be attending a Christmas party where my folks live.

Good morning everyone! We are forecast to get about 10 inches of snow in the next 36 hours. It is currently 46, and the forecast low is 33 during the time it's supposed to rain/snow. I'm not a meteorologist, but I just don't see it happening.

Yesterday I had to make a quick trip to town. One stop for maybe 3-5 minutes then come home. As I was leaving town we had a couple heavy showers and some strong wind. The temperature dropped from 62 to 53 degrees fast. Some small limbs down in the driveway but no problem. It was just crazy to see that temp in December (but not the first time) then drop so fast.

Morning all or rather Afternoon all. It was a different day yesterday. Mid-way through our Bible study session before church, the power went out. We are blessed with a large skylight in the sanctuary area of the church so things went on as normal. Pastor was handicapped by not being able to use his laptop and big screen but the piano didn't need electricity so we sang and shared testimonies. Our church has sump pump problems right now so we haven't any fellowship dinners planned until it is fixed. The church stayed warm until the end of services when it started to get chilly in there.
We got home and fired up the generator to get the heat circulating. We didn't need to fire the boiler as the tank was up in temps. Power came on about 11:00 PM. A tree came down over the only transmission lines to our area. When the transmission lines were originally put in, it was through logging slashes or areas that only had trees about half as high as the power poles. Now the trees are twice the height of the power poles. A good rain and wind storm will bring down at least one tree.

Today is bookkeeping, some football watching and knitting. I have a Christmas present I am trying to get done. The recipient may get a picture of the half made socks instead of the real thing.

    Everyone have a great day.
