    Good morning y'all.

    25/52 with bright sunshine.

Planning to haul logs today, while Sam Kubota- cleans up the mess we made yesterday.
We cut around 4 loads of logs yesterday afternoon in four hours, resulting in a fine mess.
That first one was 15' from the house so we put a line on it and pulled it just a bit.

Morning all. Looks like it might clear off today. Busy first day of retirement yesterday. We went shopping and dining out at campinspecter favourite restaurant. It was a long day as we had a car appointment as well. My favourite stores of wool, fabric and hobbies have closed in the nearest big town we usually shop in. The next town down is another 45 mins away. Makes for a long day.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. 56° and sunny now. Work day is going smooth, so far. Brought a big bucket of chicken home for supper at our daughter's last night, she's learning the cast, slowly. Got home, brought 9 buckets of splits and chunks in. It was 63° inside, built a fire. Sure need some trigger time on the woodyard. See what happens this evening.

I did get a bit of saw therapy last night, bucked 4 logs and split 1 round. Maybe I can finish those up tonight... 20231206_191203.jpg

    Good morning, members.

Cool day here. 21/36. Clear. Bright crescent moon out there.

I'll be taking myself to Dr Pokenprod this morning. Annual checkup. Please don't skip any screenings!

I'll run a few errands while I'm out.

    Good morning y'all.

    31/65 sunny.

Planning to try to make some money today..... stupid bills....
I've got to sort the logs we just hauled in... then maybe sharpen a few blades, and I'll probably cut some more farwood to keep Sam busy splitting in his surplus time.

Yesterday I hauled three loads, and Sam with the aid of the tractor got the guy's property looking good again IMG_20231206_165209~2.jpg

    Y'all have a blessed day!

Are you happy with the new sharpener?

How many blade sharpenings to break even?

Good Morning... :coffee: ... Friday... :dex: ... Yesterday was a interesting... you just never know which way it'll turn... Things were going decent.. I had to run to Lowes to get two more concrete lag screw splitters so I could secure a door to no where... Get a phone call from the Heating company the garage door wont shut... anything special... Come to find out we had lost power to the building along with a big section in that area... but he didn't realize it cause we have LED lights that come on and off with motion with a 2-3 minute hold time.. So in the dead time we had a "non function" door... Was able to take the dead time to trace the wires ... and found that someone had disconnected that wire out of the breaker box...:picard: Never a dull moment... and then found out why they probably did it... Down doesn't work currently... Will need to investigate that now... :sherlock: but I was able to over ride to get it to shut...

    Good morning, members.

    Nice day ahead. 26/40. Sunny.

Other than bringing some wood to the deck, I'm not sure what's in store for today.

    Good morning y'all.

    IMG_20231208_070522.jpg

45/62 with a possibility of rain by evening.

Still concocting a plan for the day.

Yesterday I sorted logs, and burned the scrap pile, and put Mr & Mrs pig together....because bacon.
Then I sorted dull chains & made a spot for sharp ones..... now I just gotta get Tom to fill em up.

Probably around 150 sharpenings to pay for itself.

It's a decent machine, just taking some fussing to get it right.

I started a thread on it if you want to see my progress.
