    Thanks, brother. I haven't shot a buck in probably 10 yrs. Been letting Miz Carol drop the hammer on them, she's gotten 3, in '15, '18 and '20.
    This one was a bit past her range and I was faster on the trigger...:whistle::thumbs:

    Nice day ahead. 30/50. Clear and sunny.

    Yesterday, I fired up my snowblowers. I was a happy guy when they started on the 2nd pull. I swapped the lawnmower out. I let the lawnmower run dry in the closed shed. It's my carbon monoxide mouse culling process.

    Some leaf management today.

    Planning to saw up a few white oak logs today, the boys have one more day of work at my sister's place.

    Morning All. Still in the wet weather pattern here. A few breaks in the weather but mostly drizzle. Dark and dreary. Temps are just above freezing so there will snow on the hills.

    T.Jeff Veal Nice size buck. We only have small deer around here. The elk are huge though. Getting a hunting ticket for one of them is on a lottery basis.

    Good morning! 49F and sunny, another beautiful fall day ahead. Did some resplits with ash last night, about half of which ended up as bundle wood. Hooked up the 10' trailer in the dark so I can get my zero turn back from the dealer after work today. Bible study tonight if possible or mowing with lights. Have a God day!

    Good morning FHC , a little bit of frost this morning. Took the kids to school this morning , doing a few chores around the house with the leaves. Finally getting to it. Been busy with the 3 boys with traveling soccer so now I can catch up on a few things of course a little splitting this weekend trying to get an ahead as much as possible. Have a blessed day

    Our opening day was weird. Overall, the worst I've seen for a long, long time. Not much shooting anywhere around here. Didn't even see a buck until late afternoon when a scraggly one antlered young one came in and then didn't want to leave. Saw a couple later but in the brush and could not get a shot. Overall, I may have seen close to half the deer as normal. Not sure about today. Supposed to get to 64. Not good. Temps falling tomorrow.
