Morning all. Day is dawning clear and cold. Our high pressure system is holding up just fine. I think it is going to go until Monday. We will probably move firewood at Mom's on Sunday.

Paul woke with a start with the dream fresh in his mind. "Come over and help us" said the Macedonia man in his dream. Paul, Silas, Luke and Timothy headed to Macedonia. There they preached the Good News about Jesus to whoever would listen. One Sabbath, they headed to the riverside to hold Sabbath worship. They met some women who had gathered to pray. Lydia, a seller of purple cloth, invited them to join their prayer meeting. Paul spoke about Jesus and found a group with open hearts. Lydia and her family were baptized and created a home base for Paul and the others. The gift of hospitality is a wonderful opportunity to share what Jesus has done in your life. No greater testimony that your personal testimony of the change in your life.

2 Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Hebrews 13:2

Good morning everyone! Colder than average highs for the next few days finally!

 

Good morning. I can’t stay in bed more than 6 hours most nights. When I came down around 3:30 the coals were still bright and the house was still pretty warm. I opened the air and they really brightened up. I added a load of birch around 4:30, and it is going good now. We are sitting at 26f outside. I don’t think it got over 32f yesterday.

 

Good morning. The temperatures finally dropped to under fifty. Rain and damp. Coffe is on, and awaiting sunrise.

up at 5:30 and the wife decided to get up too. Now the tranquility is broken with another absurd home renovation episode playing on the kitchen tv

Morning all. Clear and cold again today. Frosty morning. Moon was out in full this morning. I think it has been there the last couple of mornings but I didn't open the curtains early enough to see it.
Bookkeeping and helping Mom with a report for a grant today so it should be a busy one.

Backwoods Savage glad to hear you got a good nights sleep. I usually have to get up at least once with either the dog or me and if I stay too long in bed, the arthritis in my neck gives me a headache.

We started watching a Bible base series yesterday that many of you might be interested in watching. There will be 14 episodes in the series and they will be archived so you can watch them any time. The main speaker has quite a personal testimony which he may talk about during the series.

Morning all. Another clear and cold morning with the prospect of sunshine all day. We had a great day at Mom's yesterday. campinspecter did all the heavy work and I got to play on the computer.
Back to work this morning. It is going to be a crazy week this week with Halloween being celebrated. Not a holiday I want to participate in.
